Had I been reviewing Solway Logistics as a customer, they’d have got a 5 star review. But I’m reviewing them as someone who was told a large item we had bought a month ago had been sent with Solway Logistics but wasn’t getting a response from the seller when the item still hadn’t arrived 3 weeks after the seller had supposedly sent it. So really, this is a 10 star review. I reached out to Solway Logistics on Facebook out of absolute desperation. I got a response within minutes from a man called Glen who then spent much of his weekend (yes - he helped me on a weekend!) trying to track the delivery down. As it turns out, it hadn’t been sent to them, or to anyone at all. Glen could not have been more helpful, he really did go massively out of his way to help and get this resolved for me, including speaking to the seller who was an absolute nightmare to deal with. This story has a happy ending. The item has now been sent via Solway Logistics and I’ve had a message from Glen letting me know it’s been received and where it is on its journey. Incredible service, going above and beyond every step of the way. Well done Solway Logistics and especially Glen, you don’t see service like that much these days!

I am writing to comment one of Solway Logistics delivery drivers who stopped and help us when we had a puncture. He changed the wheel in a matter of minutes.
My wife is disabled and I am no youngster so his kindness and courteousness was verry much appreciated.
I have no doubt that he reflects the high standards of his company .

Your silver van driver who road my rear bumper on the M6 to junction 44, then tried to knock me out the right hand lane on the slip road to round about then speed off towards Parkhouse is a bloody quality driver… NOT! Idiot

Solway Logisitics is working at and with ABP Port of Silloth to extend the land use adjacent to the port, clearing old debris from the area between their leased land and the current area used for public parking and access to West Beach. The spoils from clearing this land have been deposited over many years from the demolition of the old railways and sidings and will now be recycled and moved to form a new access to the beach as part of the coastal footpath program. As these are works in progress and may take some months to finalise and get looking pretty again, please acknowledge that Solway Logistics are helping create this walkway section as their donation to the public access route to West Beach and a small section of the England Coastal Path.
An excellent contribution to both local and national access infrastructure and safety of pedestrians by separating pedestrians from vehicular traffic.
There are one or two people locally taking pictures and posting them in a negative way on social sites about waste on the site, this forms part of the remains of what was once a thriving port, demolished during the 60's and 70's and it is being moved around the site to help it degrade, create a more scenic area and safer access to the beach.
Any photographs posted currently would be like taking a picture of a cake, halfway through mixing the ingredients..... a complete waste of time.
