I originally contracted with Octopus for my solar panels and they messed me around for 7 months, at which point I realised their expertise was badly lacking. I then contracted with Soly. What a difference! Not from start to finish. From Grant who designed the system. Was super helpful throughout and helped me really understand how it all worked to the rest of the process and install! From start to finish it was 7 weeks!! Install was smooth too. In fact it was all good. And I am enjoying generating lots of lovely free electricity. Great experience.

From initial contact through to installation the process was seamless with good communication throughout. The installation itself was carried out in about 6 hours, the two electricians and the roofer were all extremely polite and mindful of the property and left the place clean and tidy so we have no complaints whatsoever and would recommend Soly to friends.

Of course there is no guarantee that even after doing your research the best company you think you have found will actually turn out to be as good as you hoped, on this occasion I am pleased to say Soly largely lived up to my expectations. I would not usually want to embarrass individuals by naming them but as Grant Silverman has been my main contact throughout this process he deserves a very positive mention. From the introduction and technical review through to post installation the support has been very accessible, and generally very prompt. The scaffold was erected on the planned day, and the installation was completed on time on the planned day. The work was done to a high standard, very neat (see photos) and the whole ground team where a pleasure to work with having a very accommodating attitude to customer requests.

Post installation I have been contacted on several occasions to check that I was happy, and that the system is performing.

In all I would not hesitate to recommend Soly.

So pleased with our solar panels! Installation was swift and Grant was extremely attentive and responsive to our many questions. The impact on our bills has been significant - for instance, pre-panels, our usage in June 2023 was £72.65 (plus daily standing charge) whereas this June it was £4.53 (plus daily standing charge) and it was a quite a wet June! This is great considering that we are a busy family of 5. We are now exporting our energy too which was slightly delayed and at the time of writing this on 27th July, we have an estimated income of £25.23 for this month generated by our 10 panels. I can highly recommend SOLY based on their excellent service.

Soly have been great. From my initial consultation call, where they answered every question I had (and there were a LOT) with professionalism and context. The installation itself was painless, it all happened with the minimum of fuss and in a very timely manner. The installation itself was very professional and completed speedily. Once it was all complete it didn't take long to get all the relevant certification. More than anything I have also been extremely impressed with the post installation support. I was having some issues with the application to switch tariffs with my electricity supplier which i needed to to do in order to start earning for exporting the excess energy to the grid. I was starting to get frustrated with the energy provider. So I went to Soly for advice and rather than just dispense advice they took it on and dealt with the supplier directly themselves. Within a week it was all settled. Thank you Soly you've been amazing

After a considerable amount of research into Solar Panels, we finally decided to employ Soly as our accredited installer.
Communication has been excellent throughout our experience, and a quickness to respond to any query we might of had.
Installation date agreed, with scaffolding erected a few days beforehand.
Installers arrived and introduced themselves, with an explanation of work that was going to commence and realistic completion time scales.
Everything proceeded as expected, panels fitted, inverter and battery connected.
Everything explained in detail how the system works, including Installing and how to use the app onto my phone.
Everything left clean and tidy.
Scaffolding taken away this afternoon.
Everyone working and communicating incredibly well together.
It’s early days, but already seeing some financial benefit of Solar !
