We had our loft insulated and boarded out through this scheme which gave us a contribution/grant through Royal Greenwich. There was an initial inspection followed by a quote and then finally a date. They also checked and double checked throughout to make sure we were on track and ready to receive them.

It was all completed on one day and we could not believe how quickly they worked - our loft is now completely safe to walk on, insulated and our storage items are neatly stacked and easy to move. The old water tank has been taken up from the rafters and stored at the back - out of the way and ready for disposal.

All in all I’m delighted to have this off my to do list and happy to recommend SELCE and their partners.

I spoke to Paul at SELCE, not really knowing what to expect
My experience was exceptional, Paul was very professional, knowledgeable, competent, ethical, attentive and patient.
Paul not only made me aware of All I was entitled to due to residing in the Borough, but also the connection SELCE have with so many Organisations, who can offer other services (including the fire brigade installing a smoke alarm!)
I was overwhelmed, I was not aware of SELCE or all they do to help us and our community
So much information also on the website

I went to see Annie's house in Forest Hill. She had put a lot of thought into showing us the insulation, heating and ventilation systems she has installed into her house. Annie, Flavia and the camerawoman were very helpful in enabling us to get the most out of our visit. It was excellent.
