Closed when staff are "busy", plus not much choice unless you want alcohol, more like a off-licence than convinance store.

We normally use this shop as its bit further away from where we live. We were passing so popped in. When we walked in we noticed they were very untrusting and watched our every move. We brought a bottle of wine. They had 2 sizes so went for the bigger. We walked out and noticed he had given us a small bottle but charged us for a large one. We took it back in and it was obvious they knew as they didnt question it. There whole manner was rude and ignorant. We gonna give it a wide birth and we would suggest you double check change etc.

Not sure about all the negative reviews maybe things have changed. I've just moved to area and found staff friendly enough, There is a good selection of essentials and prices are pretty reasonable for a corner shop

Not a great selection of stuff, walked in and it smelt of cigarettes.
Very hill have eyes feel about it.
Good if you really need a cheap bag of crisps and nowhere within 25miles is open.

Finally owned by people bothered enough to even own a shop and a fantastic renovation good selection far better than what it was now it's a shop with respectfully friendly staff !

Criminals! This shop stole £20 off of me! I accidentally gave £40 instead of my £20 bill,i had 2 twenty's stuck together.. I realised my mistake Immediately as I knew a million percent that I only had £40 cash in my purse and told the shop boy,who told me to call back after cashing up..I went back and spike to the rude ridiculous owner who basically told me tough luck! He said he would check camera and I should come back in the evening,went back to the shop and the owner is eating his dinner and told me to come back again later.. Although we had arranged for me to come back at this time, the thing is I don't believe I will get this money back but its the principal of it all..I know I gave £20 screwd up inside another £20 ,I know this because it was all the money I had,when I realised my mistake the boys face went beetroot and he was all sheepish ...why would he put my screwed up note straight into the till? Usually you would flatten the note out to place in the till but my note was still screwed up at the top of the till ...he knows the truth of what happened he knows I gave £20 too much and karma will deal with him..but the owner hasn't dealt with this in the correct way at all...and what can I do? If I walked into this shop and took £20 worth of goods without paying I would be arrested, yet this shop has pretty much stolen £20 from me for a brief mistake of not unscrewing my notes and there's not a thing I can do about it! ....at cashing up they say they were £10 down... So yeah my word against there's ...wouldn't have bothered so much if they had been apologetic or kind about it but they weren't they were rude and insulting .shameful pocketing somebody's money this way,I'm a single mum and I've saved damded hard to give my kids this holiday and every penny I have is earnt honestly, I don't care what situation anyone is in ,to steal some ones money this way is the lowest of the low shame on you!

I second the comment ‘hills have eyes feel’ watch you everywhere you go might aswell breath on your neck!
Shop reeks of fags and it’s all over priced and they don’t give you correct change and make up prices as they go!

Used to be lovely, three times been in recently, staff were rude, last visit I overheard staff whisper about me as I entered, wouldn't bother using unless your desperate for few bags of crisps and a lager
