Absolutely shocking company to deal with. They haven't supplied our property for nearly a year and even though I've asked multiple times to close our account, they still keep sending bills. Avoid at all costs

They take four months to provide a final invoice and after too many phone calls and twenty different invoices without any explanation they were not able to find a deal.

Absolutely useless company to deal with. Our village chapel has closed permanently and the building has been sold. We submitted final meter readings as requested when the sale was completed. TWELVE weeks later we are still trying to get the final bill which we need to pay before the final accounts are prepared for the chapel. I have phoned several times and also put in two written complaints via the website. They keep assuring me it is being dealt with but nothing happens and no one has responded to the written complaints. We are volunteers who would like to move on with our lives. I would give them negative stars if I could.

Complaint raised 695 days ago for 2 meters which are switched - upstairs getting down start bills. SSE completely useless and just about to sort after spoon feeding every step of the way.

The worst Business Energy provide - avoid them like the plague.
Customer service is negative and unwelling to find a solution.
As a company have stupidly been with them for 20 years - paying £25 per month until the last year when out of the blue they raised the account to £115 per month. In context this a account is only for 3 light bulbs for a communal hallway of a company. The lights are on a 3 min timer switch and hence very little kwts are use per month. Turns out charging us £2 per day standing charge! However they no longer provide Statement of Accounts even when you have arranged to leave them and about to start with a new electric provider. Their bills are unfathomable too. Clearly a ruse to over charge client without them being able to detect it.

Fraudulently energy company stay away!

Unrealistic and questionable estimated meter reading. Complained and provided actual meter reading but ignored.

They spike your bill and run after money.

Will be reporting this company for sure!

We have had an active complaint with SSE for 9 months now, their customer service is disgusting and complaints department near on impossible to get hold of. if you phone you can expect at least a 30min wait to get through and don't hold your breath for an email reply. As soon as I'm able to I will be changing to a different supplier

Absolutely dire company customer service. Bills are always wrong and over inflated. Issues just drag on without being resolved. I recommend switching to another company as soon as possible.
