The Team are very knowledgeable and helpful, SSU Sized and spec'd our system to suit our fully electric house and installed while we were completing an extension so the install timelines shifted and were then very tight on time, but SSU pulled it out of the bag to install the solar before our builders removed the scaffolding.

Would happily work with SSU again for any renewable systems, and looking forward to utilising our solar system fully and possibly extending our battery storage in the next 12 months.

I’m happy to recommend SSU. I’m delighted with the work they did. Aaron did a site visit and was very responsive and helpful with quotes. I did quite a lot of to and fro getting the combination I was happy with and Aaron was helpful and flexible.
The installation went very smoothly. The scaffolding company used were really friendly and professional. The install took a few more days than planned due to some very bad weather. Some panels got scratched during install but Aaron proactively said he would replace them and did.
I’m absolutely delighted with the setup SSU provided and recommend them highly.

We had a fairly large installation of solar panels, batteries and gateway which all went to plan and is working as planned, allowing for the often dreary English weather.
Everything completed much quicker than expected and appreciated SSU focusing on completing everything with a focus on the little details, such as the tiles for the in-roof solar panels.
We are in a no-gas area with ASHPs as well, so having the batteries and gateway, together with a fairly good app, has enabled us to manage much better, when we pull electricity from the grid during the colder months, so that we fill the batteries during the low cost hours and always ensuring that we are on battery power during the high cost hours 4pm to 7pm.
Scaffolding company used by SSU were also great and the site was left clean and tidy after everything finished.
We are using Sigenergy batteries / gateway, which provides a proper backup in case the grid goes down, with zero interruption to WiFi, which is great when working from home - so far would recommend this setup, especially if you have 3-Phase as we do. Would also recommend going with in-roof solar panels if you can afford that little bit extra, as visually it looks great

Danny and Aaron won me over from their first sight visit. Before we even got to discuss the equipment that could be supplied and fitted they resolved how the installation could be carried out with minimal intrusion to the cosmetics of the house. The technical information they supplied me enabled me to satisfy myself that the equipment being quoted for was amongst the best on the market and their price was very keen. Not the cheapest but their knowledge and skill were definitely worth any difference in cost. The installation was a bit of challenge but they just got on with it and it was done as they initially described. The solar panel and battery system are working fine! Good chaps.

Had a 16 panel 6.6kw system with battery installed, unbeatable price by a long shot (had quotes even from up north too), installed the best quality panels and battery, set the system up, app installed and explained, export tariff advice given, ev charger integrated, mcs certificate given, and when they’d left, couldn’t even tell that workmen had spent the day. And the best thing octopus have already projected a £100 a month saving at least. I love how the app tells you how may kg of coal and co2 was saved, and in less than an hour of the system being up, late afternoon, I’d saved 2 trees from deforestation ? want them back in a Birmingham for heat pump and other neighbours wanting systems. Thank you Gentleman.
