give this refinery a BREAK ....its part of the Energy chain that produces so much from crude oil people take for granted ...!!!!!!!!!!!! petrol/..etc just tip of iceberg... Nylon .. yep your clothes, carpets/.soap/synthetic rubber/fertilisers, paint/oxygen /.even medicines/calor gas/..yep . Plastics ..UPVC windows..etc etc/.bitumen for roads the list goes on........its a tough hard process (as an ex employee).that runs 24/7 365 days in All weathers rain or snow !!!!!!that heats your homes./petrol in your car (dont moan at petrol prices its the GOV..that puts the price up at the budget!!!!! TAX.!!!!!!....just think about things ..that toothbrush you use /and tooth paste tube and deep down even the "paste "....YOUVE NO IDEA...how tough it is to give the Comforts WE take take for Granted ..as for "local" residents..can see their view ......BUT !! STANLOW was built before their houses ...and residents Knew when they bought ..IT!.. helps keeping this country going ..and less reliant on IMPORTED OIL .... and MORE IMPORTANT...investing in renewable energy ..its Not Shell anymore but its the same ..its an Energy company ..that means wind power/wave power/solar/hydro electric power/and soon to be Hydrogen (green energys ) as well as oil and gas ....Dont bite the hand that feeds YOU ! ....think about this review .....next time you get on the plane for holidays in the sun .....aviation fuel etc mostly came from Stanlow ,

Excellent gatehouse team member. Excellent goods in team member including very professional fork truck driver at the central stores. Gate/entrance 4 is located on Pool Lane.

Wish it would just shut down! There has been more issues, fires and pollution since Essar took over. That Constant smell of sprouts and sulphur! Its disgusting! And all the dust that lands on our windows will also be landing in our lungs!! And if You Say I am wrong then you should try living next to it!! I have lived here for 7 years and for the last 2 years my breathing has been terrible so I am moving to a different area
