Rob is exceptional and Steady Heat is a different league from most of the other heating companies in Hastings and St Leonards. I’d had problems with our underfloor heating for years - repeated visits from other engineers and no resolution. Even the original installer was failing to work out what he’d not done. We finally found Steady Heat online, and Rob got to the bottom of the issue immediately - if only we’d found him sooner, I’d have saved so much money, on energy bills and other engineers. And unlike the others, he will come and diagnose before quoting/charging - all the others want to charge you for even stepping through the door. I can’t recommend Steady Heat more highly.

Robert arrived on time, was warm and friendly and was very efficient and thorough. In all the years we have had the boiler serviced, with the exception of last year, no one else came near the standards and attention to detail that Robert gave for this service. We would really recommend him, particularly to the more vulnerable older generation. His fees are very reasonable and we will definitely use his services again.

Robert is a genius with gas boilers. He is the only gas engineer I have come across who will dismantle an electrical/electronic component to see if it can be fixed - rather than simply (and more easily) discarding it and ordering a new part. Thereby avoiding more waste going to landfill and saving money. He also made an emergency visit at short notice in a holiday period to fix an old boiler. Great guy - very happy to recommend him. I hope he can continue to service our boiler for years to come.
