We contacted Stewart Temperature Solutions after the latest heatwave left us sweltering in our home. We had considered air con in previous years but always felt like it would be a huge undertaking to fit without demolishing half our walls. We also had very particular requirements about which kind of units we'd like, where we'd like them situated, and we wanted absolutely no pipework or trunking to be visible.

These requirements had left other companies running for the hills, including a long-standing local refrigeration company who deemed our requirements to be simply "not possible".

The staff at Stewart, on the other hand, made it clear from the outset that "everything's possible" and approached the project simply as a challenge to be solved. One week later, we are enjoying air conditioning throughout our entire home with zero compromises.

The surveyor and director, Gregor, was a pleasure to deal with. He fully understood all of our requests, responded promptly to our enquiries, and was so professional and accommodating.

It was obvious that the installation engineers, Stephen and James, are both incredibly skilled at what they do. They were consistently friendly, polite, and treated our home with the utmost respect. They worked so hard all day in the blistering heat of our garden and a stuffy loft without a single word of complaint.

Their work was meticulously neat and they were able to install multi-split units in locations we thought would be impossible, including directly above a door frame and - unbelievably - two units installed directly back-to-back on either side of a thin partition wall with nothing but a single six inch square cut in the plasterboard to show for it.

In fact, despite our challenging requirements, only two out of five of the units required any alterations to the walls at all - the other three were installed without any visible holes, cuts, or patches.

They even ensured that areas of work which are totally out of sight (e.g. pipe runs in the loft and the eaves) were beautifully and neatly bundled and positioned as unobtrusively as possible.

In short, they are exactly the kind of professionals you want working on your home, and they are a true credit to the company.

Overall I am so grateful we found this company. I would have absolutely zero hesitation in recommending them to anyone thinking about air conditioning or any other related work (and in fact have already done so).
