I have just come to the end of 3 months of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, starting in August, after struggling with the effects of a particularly nasty concussion I sustained last year, and I am so grateful to have had access to this and the benefits I have experienced from it. I had been reading a lot about HBOT, but until I came across Surgicare and their unique subscription plan, the prospect of pursuing this in the UK had just been simply unaffordable.

Over the last few months I have felt mentally clearer, with improvements to my verbal fluency, memory and energy levels. I feel much more like myself, and many of my friends and family have also noted that I seem chirpier and sharper. Also, I think my puns have gotten better (or worse, depending on who you ask).

While I was mainly interested in healing my mind, I’ve also found the welcome benefit that my skin and overall complexion is looking very healthy (just today someone told me I was ‘glowing’!) and what has also been quite the unexpected bonus is that the scar on my forehead (from where head met lamppost) seems to have quite visibly shrunk, which was noticed by both a close friend and my mother.

On a psychological level, I have also found an increased motivation to form healthier habits. I try to use the time in the tank productively, studying or getting on with things on my laptop that I’d otherwise procrastinate. I’ve been going harder at the gym, and I feel I have been bouncing back fast with more energy and motivation to go again the next day, which has no doubt compounded many of the aforementioned benefits. I feel a much greater confidence in my health, and perhaps as a result, my anxiety has improved across many areas of my life.

Dr Gakhal is a kind, knowledgable and professional individual, and was very patient in addressing my many questions and discussing the best options and optimal pressure (I built up to the maximum pressure of 2.0 ATA by the third month) throughout my course of treatment, explaining these in digestible layman terms with reference to the current research; my less frequent encounters with Dr Patel and Dr Rai were also always very pleasant. The receptionists Vas, Jas and Stephanie, were incredibly friendly and accommodating and made me feel very welcome and comfortable on my visits (so much so that poor Jas and Vas often had to put up with me nattering away at them a little too long after my sessions! I’ll miss these chats and hope you’re all very well).

I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to improve their overall health for whatever reason, and would send them this way any and every time! Thank you Surgicare!

I first contacted Surgicare Aesthetics on 29th August 2024 having found them on social media after seeking an alternative to surgery for a lipoma removal above my eyebrow. Having seen Aqualyx on their social media being used for lipomas I felt this was a so much better option as opposed to being left with than a scar. I spoke with Dr Patel about the procedure and he booked me in to visit him in London on 2nd September 2024. I was an extremely nervous patient as I don’t and haven’t had any cosmetic treatments previously. He took some photos and I asked lots of questions to which Dr Patel answered. Once the procedure was done my eye began to swell a lot which I was told was normal. The next day I sent a message with updated photos of my face and I got a call, I was asked if I could still see and I said I could… just but that I cannot raise my eyebrow at all. He said that this would wear off over 6/8 weeks and I would be able to move my eyebrow again.
Fast forward ten or so weeks I receive a text on 5th November to see how the lipoma was and I said it had gone down a bit but I still can’t raise my eyebrow. I was asked to send a video to show the paralysis of the eyebrow on 6th November which I did straight away. I can see the message has been viewed on WhatsApp. it has now been 6 days and I haven’t even had as much as a message to say we are looking into it, nothing. I’ve tried to call but no answer.
I’m truly devastated that I went for this procedure with Surgicare Aesthetics. This situation is causing me lots of anxiety and making me wish I hadn’t used Surgicare Aesthetics, and now I am left with a partly paralysed face.

Whenever I go in for an appointment, I’m greeted with smiling faces. The staff are extremely friendly and remember little details about your life, whether it’s work, relationships, they make an effort to really get to know you.

They truly listen to your needs and deliver every time. If you’re thinking about getting any work done, this is the place to go.

Excuse the dry lippies but I’m so happy with how far along they have come after 4 trips to Surgicare.

I had been contemplating some facial enhancements as a novice to this industry and extremely nervous of needles . After my initial consultation with Dr Patel and his advice, I had some filler and botox, he made me fully aware of any potential issues, was patient and surprisingly minimal discomfort I left. I wanted as natural a look to look refreshed and I can honestly say he has done an amazing job. My face has no marks, bruises and any slight swelling has dissipated overnight . I cannot recommend this company more highly as professional with a personal touch to my requirement. Thank you all and I'm sure I will be back
