Recently moved to the area and have needed to visit quite a lot in a short space of time clearing packing materials and garden waste. The team are excellent, managing a tight space carefully and efficiently. Emma is diligent and makes sure things go in the right bins and is rightly assertive about this. But she is also very friendly and helpful. We all need patience when we go the tip, and a friendly smile works wonders both ways :)))

Appalling attitude from a member of staff named Emma.
I arrived at the recycling tip for the first time as I'm moving out (never been to the tip before). All the staff were stood around smoking with there backs turned to us and the left lane was coned off and the gate was closed. Due to the staff paying absolutely no attention I thought to go into the right lane to enter the tip. When the staff finally butted their fags out and opened the gate and pointed that I had gone the wrong way I was greeted by Emma who has the worst attitude I've ever encountered. She started shouting through my window "do you know how to drive" "you shouldn't be driving" in mine and my partners face! Maybe if the staff weren't sat around eating pizza and smoking the customers would know which way to go! Im absolutely disgusted at this experience and the way I was spoke to. Staff seriously need to pay attention and do their jobs properly before an accident happens. The only polite and helpful member of staff was Roger so thankyou to him. Will not be returning.

Used to be a good site. Now a couple of Jobsworth staff are ruining it. Went through everyones black bags with a fine tooth comb causing massive cues. I ended up taking my recycling home as i struggled to keep my cool with the rude staff!!
I witnessed two members of staff be rude to several members of the public while i was there.
God forbid you take a kitchen chair with a cushion on!! You will be shouted at across the site and told to take it home.

Should get no stars. Women working there talking to members of the public like dirt on her shoe! Power tripping much! Normally the men there are lovely and helpful. Tall,dark haired women with glasses talked to a few of us so rudely. You should be ashamed not proud of yourself you horrible women. It’s the dump!! Disgusting behaviour.

This place could learn a thing or two from chard recycling centre the guy there know how to treat their customers. This place at Kilmington is absolutely disgusting and the staff are uneducated idiots with a little bit of power going into their heads, you’re a bin man, get over yourself

Really easy to use. Everything has signs on and staff very helpful
