The green boxes completely changed the way I moved and created an entirely better experience. The pick-up and drop-off was seamless. The boxes themselves were clean and sturdy for all of my items. I’ll never go back to cardboard boxes again! Well worth the small cost. Follow the room/box count suggestions from the company, they were spot on.

This was my second time using the Green Box. I had a one bedroom apartment and used their 20-box studio deal. The price was affordable. The delivery and pick-up service made the whole moving process easier. The boxes were large, study, and clean. I will definitely use this service again.

I submitted a contact form via the Chicago Green Box site prior to placing my order to ask if they offered wardrobe boxes for rent. Someone named Francine replied to say that 3 wardrobe boxes are provided free and additional boxes are $7. That made me decide to go with Chicago Green Box instead of Redi-Box, so I went ahead and booked with a note in the booking request that I'd like to purchase an additional box on top of the 3 provided.

The guys showed up today to deliver the boxes and didn't know anything about the wardrobe box. Someone from the office called me to say that those wardrobe boxes are only provided when you use The Professionals moving service and that if I wanted wardrobe boxes, I would need to pay $16 per box.

I now understand that Chicago Green Box is owned by The Professionals, but it's completely unclear that's the case when you're booking through the CGB website. They need to do a better job of separating their customer service if they're going to operate under different policies. Additionally, the woman who called to tell me I couldn't use the wardrobe boxes only kept repeating that policy. She didn't make any effort to understand where there may have been confusion or to honor the policy communicated by her colleague.

Needless to say, a completely unprofessional experience.

Great way to save the planet and on carton boxes! We used the professional moving for our move and it was fantastic. They offer us the green box idea and that made everything so easy. So highly recommended, and next time you move book the professional movers and when you do make sure you book yourself enough green boxes.

Super convenient and great communication. Ordering boxes, delivery of them, pickup, everything was smooth and effortless, which is exactly what we needed in the chaos of moving. Delivery and pickup ended up being earlier than the timeframe window provided, which worked ok for us. The team was very nice and accommodating, moved the empty boxes up and down the stairs for us. Dolly is a necessity, the empty boxes are sturdy and pretty heavy stacked up a few on their own. Will definitely recommend to others and use these guys again.
