Ordered an Estarli E28 bike from The Cycle Company. My experience has been great. Tom and the team are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I did some research before choosing an Estarli and I'm glad I went with this option. I'm averaging around 53-54miles per charge using levels 1 and 2 which in my opinion is generally enough, (even on inclines) otherwise the bike is like being on a 15mph moped It's a game changer. Buy local and buy British

I don't normally write reviews, but with the excellent service I received it seems only fair to say so.
Duncan and James are both keen cyclists and listened carefully and patiently to the cycling that I wanted to do. I have cycled a lot in the past and now wanted to make life a little easier with an electrically assisted bike with some off road and gravel track capability. I didn't need, and didn't want the weight of, a full mountain bike They gave very good advice based on their wide ranging experience. Their primary interest was always to make sure that I selected the right bike for my needs.
I bought a Mondraker Dusty RR and accepted the recommendation from Duncan to upgrade to suspension front forks. I am delighted with the bike. It is agile and responsive on the road, comfortable and controllable off road, and the increase in power from the electric motor is superb.

I highly recommend the CycleCo, Duncan and Tom are so accommodating and knowledgable. I visited them to test ride a couple of e-bikes, and am so pleased I did. I purchased the Estarli e28.8 with step through frame. It is a joy to ride, I have been very impressed with the ability to adjust the bike’s handle bars to achieve the most comfortable cycling position. The icing on the cake is the boost of power on the hills.

Phoned about a bike as I live too far from the shop. Great response including photos. Bike delivered as described on the day requested. It was well packaged and secured in the box. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!

From my first interaction with Tom, he and his team have delivered excellent service and insight. I knew roughly what I wanted but they found a bike in budget and with the spec I wanted, including a funky colour!!
When I collected it was set up to my size and had another once over the new bike. The gears have been indexed perfectly and there have been no issues with the hydraulic brakes. The Knog Scout is an excellent piece of kit too, which is now set up on the “Find my” app on iPhone, along with my other devices.
Been on a few rides with it now and what a difference compared to a non E bike. If you are worried about losing fitness or not putting in much effort, it’s really down to you. Unless you a super fit then I don’t see why you wouldn’t consider getting one, the assist you get up the hills helps you enjoy the downhill even more.
