I love this place and the mission. I need to say for the record, though, that I am not sure that paying 350% more for bubble bath and dish soap is going to really make zero-waste accessible to your average people. Isn't the idea that buying in bulk makes things cheaper? I am VERY happy to pay more to reduce waste and support this kind of a store, maybe I'd even happily pay twice as much. But my kid's bubble bath costs $8 at Jewel and the refill at Eco Flamingo cost $27.5. Is this really how it has to be?

The Eco Flamingo has helped me lead a more sustainable life! I love that I can bring my own container and fill up on dry goods and only get the amount I need. I have actually saved money by doing this! They also offer classes and community conversations and are active members of the neighborhood. The staff is always helpful and kind. Whenever I have friends in from out of town, I bring them here because it's a fun shop with such unique and creative items. Everyone should check them out!

Love love love this place! I can find almost everything I need here (except bulk peanut butter, hint hint please! ?) and I'm so happy to see that they've grown over the months and now have exciting community classes and are expanding their repertoire of plastics and recyclables that they collect.

You have to plan your visit a bit if you're serious about adopting a zero waste lifestyle but absolutely worth the trip every time. Plus their products are just superior. Especially love their organic cranberries, the bulk coffee, and their laundry soap. My clothes feel noticeably softer on my skin!

Final note is how knowledgeable and passionate the workers are. They're helpful and always have good tips and suggestions for continuing to reduce waste.

Picked up olive oil and soy sauce on Saturday morning, along with some refills for hand and dish soap. It was our first time here, and the employee working was extremely helpful and kind. I was surprised even after studying their website by how many bulk products and eco-friendly items they had. Very excited to have such a great zero-waste option, and looking forward to picking up more of our staples (pastas, beans, legumes, oatmeal, coffee, etc) in the future!

Cannot get enough of this store. Been shopping here for a few years now. Any ingredient I can get here I do get here because it's zero-waste AND high quality. They regularly expand their wares too.

Stopped in to try the laundry detergent. Got a jar at the store but you can bring in your own. Large selection of spices and dried fruits too. Gotta remember to save my jars to donate or use for future purchases.

I love seeing how this shop grows and expands—they are always adding new products, always offering more options for sustainable planet-friendly products. We refill so much here (oils to spices to granola to soaps and on and on) and are happy to frequent this neighborhood staple!

I've been searching for an eco-friendly / zero-waste store for ages and finally found one in the city! You can bring in your own jars to fill up with pantry items, soaps, etc. They also have a good variety of other products including coffees, toiletries, cleaning products, ... I've found the prices are higher than a conventional grocery store, but typically worth it for most items for the sake of being more environmentally friendly imo.
