We recently contacted the Energy Experts as we were looking in to a solar system but were not sure of what would work best for us.
David arranged a video conference with us and we discussed what we were potentially looking at and he gave various options for us to consider. Unlike many firms he was not pushy or tried to talk us in to anything that we didn’t want. At the end of the call we felt very comfortable about the firm, their products, credentials and warranties/ support service, that we requested a follow up call in a few days time- giving us an opportunity to study the options and proposals.
The Second Video conference call was with Martin the operations director as we had various technical questions on placement of the inverter, battery and cable runs. Martin was and has been fantastic, he has worked with us and been very flexible on what we asked for.
We were very happy with the quote/product and the firm, that we placed the order the same day.
We have been kept informed at every stage and when we did have any queries they answered them very quickly.
The components arrived the day prior to the installation and we were given the delivery information in advance.
The installation team were superb..
They were very polite, helpful- ensuring we were aware of what needed doing and making sure we were happy with the plan.
They really took pride in their work the finish was great and it was all tidy when they finished.
The system is operating very well and we are very pleased with how much electricity it produced even on cloudy days and no direct sunlight. It’s very true that the technology has dramatically improved over the last few years.
It’s only been a few days since the system was commissioned and we should receive the certificate shortly to allow us to register for our chosen tariff.
Initially the only concern that we had was that we are in Nottingham and The Energy Experts head office is In Newcastle- However this has not been an issue and we are very pleased we have chosen this firm.
We would certainly recommend them without hesitation.

Following my original review, I am pleased to say we have received the MCS certification and DNO approval numbers allowing us to set up our new tariff with our supplier Octopus.
The system is performing very well even producing power on cloudy days.

I really have to thank Energy Experts for their help. My installer had gone out of business and I wanted to establish a relationship with another company so that if I had any issues, I would have someone to turn to. My neighbours had Energy Experts install their solar, so I gave them a ring.

My smart meters had not been fixed by the time my installers had gone out of business, so I was unable to take advantage of charging my battery on the low tariff. I could not figure out how to get my solar battery to charge overnight and the instructions I was given were not helpful. In a matter of days, a technician popped 'round and showed me how to do the set up.

Professional and supportive local company. I recommend them!

We recently had solar panels plus battery storage installed by The Energy Experts. We were very happy with the whole installation process - the guys were friendly and efficient and they got everything installed quickly, despite some challenging weather conditions. The system performance is great. It produces more energy than I was expecting and even produces a reasonable amount in very overcast weather.
We had a slight issue post installation due to a faulty cable, but the after sales has been really good - they put a lot of effort into resolving the issue and everything is now working perfectly.

Extremely satisfied with the quality of panels and inverter. Installation process met expectations; staff surpassed them with exceptional service. Significant reduction in electricity bill, over 50% on sunny days. Despite higher cost, the quality justifies the price. Highly recommend for top-notch solar solutions.

I installed 12 solar panels, 1 battery and an EV-charger. Overall, a professional team who delivered what they said. All processes went very smooth from sale to installation. Compared to couple of other companies, The Energy Expert, arranged a video call with me going through their products and services whereas other companies sent a quotation via email without any attempt to talk to me. The products delivered on-time and installation happened in a given day. The electrician I had was very nice and he was explaining the steps of installation for me too.
The customer after care has been very good so far. Very quick on responding to emails.
I have managed to get a deal with Octopus on EV charging so I can charge my car for 7.5 p per Kwh which is great.

After being bombarded with calls from energy brokers I vowed never to use them again… however… after an absolute nightmare with EDF causing me sleepless nights, stress, and anxiety I was recommended to contact Chris Anderson @ The Energy Experts.

Chris methodically listened to my concerns, assessed my invoices, and noticed discrepancies that elevated my bill to a whopping £22,000.00 – now considering we are a small office that use under 10,000 Kwh’s a year, to an industry expert like chris this was a breeze to identify – and good job he did!!!

Not only did Chris take over the reigns and speak to the supplier for over 3 weeks, raised complaints, escalated it to managers and used his experience to ask questions us non-industry people would not even think we could ask – he even negotiated, at my request, an alternate contract with a different supplier.

Now we knew that there was an issue with our bill/standing charge but not to the extent that chris spotted – Chris managed to get our bill down from £22,000 to £785 – something that the supplier was adamant was not going to happen….but with chris looking after things it did.

Now this is the important part – we have all heard as business owners the sometimes disproportionate commission brokers make… Chris made £7.36 for all his efforts on this meter – this is why we have then, as a group, decided to give him all other contracts to look after and we are extremely happy that he also was able to not only make a little commission himself but further reduce every price we were paying across the Group.
