Had a hypnotherapy session with Claire recently, and can recommend her. She was very thorough and intuitive in the initial chat, when she took notes, and helped me explore my motivations. The actual hypnotherapy was amazing. I felt very calm and relaxed and had great faith in Claire. I had only once had hypnotherapy previously which was nothing like as calming and reassuring. I felt great afterwards and have confidence Claire’s hypnotherapy will have the desired effect! She also sent me a recording for me to play daily afterwards. Fantastic!

I had a hypnotherapy session with Claire to experience how it could impact emotional eating. I really enjoyed the session, where Claire carefully and thoughtfully explored my individual situation and got specific about what I wanted to achieve. I found that Claire was able to explore sensitive subjects carefully but effectively and I felt that the session was very much tailored to my personal situation. I really appreciated the blend between Claire’s curiosity and her confidence in her approach. After the initial discussion, I found the meditation incredibly relaxing and very enjoyable and was pleased to get a recording too. I had a past life regression session with Claire through her hypnotherapy service. For long I had felt that I needed to explore some potential past life trauma and understand how it might be holding me back in life now. The first half of the session was exploratory and gentle - I was welcomed into the lovely surroundings of her therapy room with a pot of bespoke tea she had especially dowsed for my session. I felt calm and nurtured in this safe space, which was essential for me to receive the following part of the session - the regression itself through hypnotherapy. Claire was confident and precise in her guidance whilst leaving room for her sharp intuition to step in. I had a hypnotherapy session with Oily Witch to help me with my dog phobia. It was a very interesting session and Claire talked me through what to expect and how the session was going to proceed. I felt very safe in Claire’s hands and as an energy healer myself I am very discerning with whom I trust my energy with. Claire asked me a few questions to get the full picture abd then she guided me through a relaxed guided journey. A couple of days later I was met with what would have been my fear when I entered a clients home that had a dog. I had previously asked them to have the dog in a different room and this time, after Claire’s hypnotherapy I had the courage to meet the dog and allow it to be free to roam the house. At one point it sat next to me. It felt very liberating and I felt very comfortable. I would highly recommend Oily Witch for hypnotherapy and all the other healing modalities she uses. I was having some anxiety with my golf and wondered if Claire could help me. I had a 1 time hypnotherapy session and I can honestly say it has made a difference to my game. Claire gave me an mantra and anchoring technique that I've introduced to my pre shot routine, and I genuinely see my drives going straighter and longer. Of course with golf there are many variables, so it's not a guaranteed fixed for my level of golf but it has really helped move past any poor shots, reset my mind and I find the very next shot goes exactly where I want it to go. It's early days, but so far I feel this has really helped me to relax before each shot and reduced the stress of making poor shots. The session with Claire was around 2 hrs in total, first she asked many questions to figure out what was going on in my mind and then did a hypnotherapy session which I found very calm and relaxing. I can highly recommend Claire as she has so many talents and can help so many people in different ways. Thanks Claire.

Claire showed me into her practice room, sat me down and gave me a mug of lovely tea that she had prepared specially. Her manner is so friendly and direct and her room so warm, eclectic and inviting, I relaxed immediately.

The purpose of my appointment was to gain more self-confidence in order to move forward in my own practice. I also wanted to see if it was possible to disperse the long-standing belief, I’d had that I couldn’t be hypnotised. (due to my highly developed sense of self-awareness)

As I sat there, I wondered how being hypnotised could take two hours?

The first half of the session Claire took down a host of notes.
She was very thorough and perceptive in deciphering where, why and how I’d developed my self-defeating attitude and spent sometime with me re-constructing short, positive affirmations for me to repeat to myself at a later time.

Once this part of the session was over Claire invited me on to the therapy bed where she wrapped me in blankets from head to foot until I resembled a ‘Mummy’. She wasn’t satisfied until I assured her that I felt thoroughly safe and warm.

She dimmed the lights and moved around the bed with a ritual bead shaker, followed by softly drumming on a ritual drum. This served to heighten my senses and raise my awareness to focus on my place in the space.

Claire then tool a seat close beside me and spoke quietly in a slow rhythmic delivery. She has the perfect voice for this kind of treatment as her voice is clear, assured and resonant. It gave me the sense that I could believe and trust her. My resistance to hypnotherapy is due to a highly developed sense of self-awareness, so this element of the process it was very Important for me. Claire was able to talk me into a deeply relaxed space.

The magic of this process is in the way Claire uses words that are evolved from collaboration with her at the start of the session. Short affirmations, derived from your own words, are repeated back to you during the hypnosis session to develop a new attitude towards yourself. In this way there is no resistance to what is being said. It is almost like you are hypnotising yourself.

As the session drew to a close Claire asked me to open my eyes.
I didn’t want to move from the warm cocoon she had created for me. I felt I’d experienced something subtle and profound and in that, something had changed in me.

The session did indeed take two hours and the time flew!
As someone who was initially suspicious, unsure and ignorant of what this process might entail I can highly recommend Claire’s Hypnotherapy treatment as a supportive and revelatory way to evolve towards your more capable and improved self.
