The salesman was very good at convincing us to purchase the honeycomb insulation & said it would fit snuggly between the rafters. However, this was not the case as the insulation kept falling down and the installers returned on two separate occasions to firstly tape the insulation in position & secondly when this didn’t work stapled the tape previously used.

Well installed - easy process. When their van broke down on the way to us they immediately communicated this with us to say they would be late, and even though the van could not be fixed, still managed to get to us a few hours later - all the time strongly keeping us up to date.

The honey comb insulation was placed between the roof girders.There were no reinforcements to keep them in place. A week later, most of them have come out loose and was hanging down like Christmas decorations. I have to call the installer back. The person came and put them back in place and applied silver sticky tapes. Few have come loose again. The UK energy saving network operator went into the attic and inspected the work.There are many gaps and insulation is not adequate.I was told that adequate reinforcement is needed to keep the super foil ( honey combs) in place.
