The original company who installed them had gone out of business and was looking for a solid reputable company that could service my system. Highly recommend The Small Solar Company. They are honest and take the time to go over what they are doing, recommendations and how to get the best out of the solar panel heating. The engineer was Christoph and he was excellent so ask for him.

I called several companies to enquire about how they would operate a service on my existing solar panels. The quality of responses I got were really poor. Most companies didn't even call back. However, The Small Solar Company Ltd were fantastic. My initial exchange of emails was with Sharon Harris. She was fab! She managed to get Giles on the phone to me who took plenty of time out to explain everything. We booked the date in and Giles attended spot on time. He was equally amazing. Very professional. The best thing was that he explained my entire system to me. My system was 10 years old and I really didn't know much about it - I do now! Thank you to all the team at The Small Solar Company.

Christoph, Giles and Sharon were amazing. From start to finish they were contactable, polite and knowledgeable. They fixed visits to analyse the previously botched job, obtained the correct parts, did a total reinstallation, cleaned up afterwards and later did a service check. We immediately booked them to install a second system on another building and that too has been very satisfactory throughout. Very reasonable prices too.
Totally recommend for any solar hot water install or repair.

I moved into a property that had a broken solar thermal system, and I had a hard time finding a company who could service the system as solar engineers are so busy at the time of writing. Luckily The Small Solar Company was able to help. Christoph was excellent, very professional and knowledgable. He had some difficulties clearing a bad blockage in my system at first but was able to rectify the problem and got me up and running. He took the time to fully explain the solar thermal system that I have and how best to use it which I really appreciated. I'd definitely recommend The Small Solar Company to all.

After being let down by a few other companies, This very in demand team kept me informed all way through the long summer wait. It was worth it! I now have a working solar system, I now understand how it is meant to work and why. Broken part fixed with no inflated extras, just straightforward and clear explanation. All way through the work they kept me informed of what they were doing and why.

I contacted the small solar company for help with my solar-thermal system which had become totally clogged after many years of neglect. Although I was outside of their service area, Giles gave me some really helpful advice that enabled me to get my system up and working again without needing an engineer to come on-site.
