I certainly would not use them again. Had a ‘NEW ‘ stove fitted on 23/1/25. It transpires that it was manufactured in 2021.
No flue tests conducted before or after installation. No certificate. No plaque . I was told that I would get a certificate within the week. Two months later I received compliance certificate from Oftec .
Stovecave website at the time said HETAS registered,, they left them in June 2023. Only after I challenged this was the website changed.
HETAS believe in the circumstances it was a non compliant installation. Had I known at the time I would not have employed them .

Second winter where my stove can't be used.
Been in contact yet again with STOVAX.
Told me yet again the stove hasn't been fitted correctly.
Stove cave hasn't been at help at all.ignored.
Stay clear.

What an outstanding and stress free service I have recently received from the Stove Cave!
Both Nick and Dawn were professional, informative of their products and kept me in the loop throughout.
Nick fitted the stove and has done an amazing job, Dawn also called a couple of weeks later to check all was ok.
I honestly could not recommend them enough, and I will certainly be using them again in the future!

I have recently had two Stoves fitted by Nick from the Stove Cave. I can't recommend them enough, from start to finish it was a simple process and a great job too.
After getting several quotes from other companies the Stove Cave were the most competitive and the very best service.
