Went to a workshop last year near Fort William in Scotland. I made a worm farm with Anna from The Urban Worm. This inspired me to make many more and expand my worm farming to build another 5 10litre ones and later to have this larger one made from an old fridge freezer. Enjoying also sharing and spreading worm joy with others. These little farms make great gifts for friends too.

I got my worms from Anna a few years ago and they are still going strong, having babies and looking after my plants. Anna has always supported me when I’ve had questions, and this year we met again at Green Meadows event in Nottingham City last week. Anna’s dedication to spreading worm love is awesome. As she says “Worms will save the world!”. Enjoy the enrichment that the worms bring to us!

I am a nursery teacher and I signed up for receiving composting worms from Urban Worms. These worms have been a great source of wonder and interest to our children. So many teaching possibilities including sustainability, respecting and understanding the life cycles of creatures. We love them!

Anna helped me set up my first mini worm farm many years ago at one of her fun and informative workshops. We outgrew our original system and upgraded to a wheelie bin worm farm which continues to munch on all my kitchen waste and provide excellent compost for my garden and house plants every year. I would be totally lost without my worms. The kids absolutely love helping me fill up the bin with veggie scraps and emptying the hatch of black gold.

I recently attended a workshop with The Urban worm. I knew nothing about worms but wanted to go on the workshop to learn more and specifically for my German Shepherd dog waste. I was made very welcome and Anna de la Vega has so much passion and knowledge that it was easy to take in all the new information. I had lots of questions to ask about dog poo composting and Anna made this very easy and gave me lots of useful tips. I went ahead and bought a 140 litre composting bin straight away to get started. I love the design and it’s very easy to put together. I have been so impressed with my dog poo worm bin that I have now bought a second for all my food and natural fabric waste. I can honestly say that this new way of living has changed my life. I’m so grateful to The Urban Worm for helping me do my bit for the planet. I highly recommended this company!

Recently bought a worm farm kit, the parcel arrived quickly and was really well packaged, love the little personal touches added. The instructions were clear and very helpful. My worms are now happy in their new home and I look forward to them helping me and my garden grow some amazing food. Brought a wheelie bin DIY kit, It’s perfect, so easy to set up as instructions are very clear and requires little effort. The DIY Wheelie bin is perfectly fit for use and now my garden waste is put to good use and given back to the planet as it should be, worms are always happy to see me and are great company! Just what I wanted, Recommended for all ages and sizes?
