Had a great experience today when I went in store to try and get some help finding a cylinder lock, I was greeted by a gentleman named Ben who was very helpful and spent time helping me to find the correct one I was after. He is a great asset to the company and made my experience pleasant and stress free!

My husband is in the building trade and needs essentials for his work and I’ve got to say the staff is brilliant and treats him with respect. When we’ve been in together he is very professional and treats us like everyone else with respect and makes sure those who needs serving first are put first.
He is really good at helping as best of his knowledge.
Definitely Thomas works hard along with the other team members!

I went in on Saturday to look for a replacement garage door handle. Not an expert, so went in thinking I could get some help. I told the customer assistant what I was looking for, and if he could offer any help, to which he replied: “you’ll have to look in the catalogue.” The problem I said was that I wasn’t sure what I was looking for & from what I’d seen online, I was not confident I’ll be buying the correct thing. He proceeded to tell me: “I don’t usual deal with those.” I’m not asking for expert advice on everything in the shop but can only assume this level of service wouldn’t have been given to a trade customer. I was made to feel stupid and won’t step foot in there again. Terrible.

I wanted to replace the lock on the garden gate. Toolstation had what I needed at a fair price. There were 3 in stock so I went down to pick one up at the Stourbridge branch. Unfortunately they wouldn't accept cash at the present time with the covid thing going on.
A young staff member called Jess was very helpful. All credit to her after she helped create an account, choose the correct product online & sort out payment so I hadn't got to go back home and return again next day.

A very friendly store. You're always assured of a smile and a few pleasantries from all the staff who do their very best to give good service. The Covid pandemic has created a lot of difficulties to the store's normal operating methods but, despite this, the staff have still served with a smile. A special mention for Tish who is a great role model for the company. As a general rule items in store are lower priced than Screwfix; sometimes by quite a margin.
