The absolute worst company that I have ever dealt with. It has taken three months of countless phone calls, emails and letters to finally set up a gas account of a new premises I moved into. Not only did they then continue to issue wrong invoices, but they refused to update the starting moving in date and starting meter reading.
They fail to reply to emails, and if they do reply - they fail to acknowledge your questions. You will be on hold for up to an hour and then will be transferred 5 or 6 times. No on knows what they are doing! How can a company operate like this? Completely incompetent! AVOID!

I wish I had read these reviews before signing up with this shower. Absolutely appalling customer service and real bully boy tactics to make you pay up with no explanation of why you've been asked to pay the amount. Can't wait to move companies - don't touch them with a barge pole - one mass of stress from start to finish. Disgraceful company with surly, rude staff!

Very poor service! I'm a new customer and have had nothing but problems with no one willing to sort them out. They have taken too much money from my account with overestimated readings even though i have submitted the correct reading's in plenty of time then been given the run around and still no resolution! Definitely wouldn't recommend this company!

total Gaz behaviour has let me down badly.
I have been a customer of total for the past 15 years .I m still a customer with the electricity but no more Gaz since 2014 because my shop is all electric and I spend over £2000 a year.
my Gaz meter has been capped but every year they try to charge me daily charges and refuse to close my account unless I remove the meter at my own cost.i called Transco and they said that total is trying to bully you and removing an old meter that is not use is there responsibility.
I'm very upset about the whole situation

Horrific company. EVERY single communication has had an error. They cannot get their numbers right. Dates are always wrong. Tried to charge me £12,000 when they in fact owed money back to me. Just awful, I cannot believe they are still functioning.

Very bad customer service, the manager Anele Ntloko lying, many times promised to call me but unfortunately never, 9 months waiting to get the final bill.

DO NOT TOUCH STAY CLEAR RUBBISH FIRM No customer service, very rude, hook you in with cheap deals, over seas call centres who don't understand and can not resolve simple issues then ask if there is anything else they can help with. (NO!). Stay away if you don't want a bad experience!!!!!!!!!

A warning should be issued before joining Total Gas & Power. Do yourself a favour and avoid this company.
