Worst company I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. You know how in the Pink Panther, that guy starts twitching whenever he encounters Inspector Clouseau? Well that’s me when they call or email me (which they do on a daily basis and then ignore all the information I provide to them). I have an empty shop and the electrics are switched off and I have given them meter readings several times, yet they continue to ignore all the info I provide to them, and keep sending me bills based on estimates for thousands of pounds. And also calling and emailing me non stop so that I feel it necessary to take out an injunction. If you want to enjoy your life, avoid, avoid, AVOID.

The worst organisation I have ever encountered, at all costs do not do business with this company, I settled accounts 3 months ago and today received a notice from a dept collection agency. They didn't even notice I had paid them.

Without doubt the worst company i have ever had to deal with. The customer service are totally incompetent and are reluctant to deal with any queries. I was told 3 times i would be contacted by the payment plan team and have heard nothing for a month. They completley messed up my bill by putting a faulty smart meter in and not sending me any billing for 6 months. When i asked them for their complaints procedure they said they did not know anything and suggested that i send an email to the company to request it. You cannot speak to anyone at their head office in Redhill, Surrey either.

Incompetent is an understatement! Continued to bill us for 6 months after leaving them. Tried to highlight the issue multiple times. Had solicitors contacting us for payments we didn’t owe but we’re forced to pay. When we eventually got it sorted they owed us £1250 and then brushed our complaint aside like it was nothing. Ridiculous!

This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with in my life. All I wanted them to do was change an electricity meter from commercial to domestic after moving in. Not only have they dragged their heels for 3 months despite lots of phone and email conversations, they have billed me on a newly made account which I NEVER asked for.

Now they're threatening to cut off my supply as well as start a new account for the GAS meter which is none of their business. The Elec meter has finally been made domestic so I can now start business with SSE and pay my bills.

As far as I know it's against the law to cut off power to a property with habitants in the UK, so we'll see how that goes. I've contacted citizens advice and may have to get the financial ombudsman involved.

Never do business with this company.

If I could give zero, I would. I moved into a house previously served by TEGP for a business run out of the house by the previous owners. I am now held hostage on Total's emergency business tariffs. I am told that they will match my new domestic supplier's tariff and reduce the bill but I have had to chase this, doing the legwork every step of the way. They don't answer the phone, they don't answer emails, and their webchat service is achingly slow and uninformative. Avoid.

this firm is absolutely appallingly incompetent. On no account switch to them. Am being persued for thousands by a third party Oriel, who when I tell them to refer it back and it doesnt exist simply refuse to believe me. I am now pursuing them for harrassment as a result.
