It’s obviously not nice having to be contacted by debt recovery for a parking fine but honestly there’s a guy that managed my case called Simo. He’s so polite and respectful, customer service on 10. Forgot I was in soup for a second. There’s always a way out guys just answer the phone, speaking to them will save you later! 🙂

They say I owe money from a garage that I have never used. Letter came in May 2025 saying I didn't pay for fuel in September 2023, never had any correspondence before. No proof of such incident when I asked, they just say I have to pay or I will get a ccj. Threatening with bailiffs if I don't pay but I believe they are scammers and trying to scare vulnerable people. I know I do not owe them money, I was not even in the country on the date they allege I stole fuel so let them contact a solicitor. One letter 18 months after alledged incident with no evidence, hahahaa, laugh you out of court. How disgusting that they scare people to pay with threats.

I’ve just received a letter from this company telling me I owe £170 for a parking charge from 2021!
I’ve never before receiving this letter today even heard of the parking charge.
When contacting this unprofessional cowboy company they told me the parking charge issuer will no longer liaise with me as this case is with them now, fine, but when asking why is this the first time I am hearing about this they told me I would have had letters previously I kept reiterating I have not received any letters or phone calls about this matter. Not a single letter or notice of this apparent parking charge in the past four years!
I have been told the only thing I can do now is pay it. When saying I refuse to pay for a parking charge that I have absolutely no knowledge about I was told in so many words “tough” I was repeatedly told “it’s with us now you need to pay it and there is nothing more we can do” and when I began to get frustrated as anybody would, the call agent told me she was leaving the call and was not “fighting” with me over this. Nobody was fighting over it, I simply wanted more information and proof of this unknown to me parking fine. Something they could not provide me with. When trying to contact Alliance Parking Uk LTD there is no contact number and the email address provided comes back with a generic message that has no useful contact information or further guidance on how to obtain evidence or how to discuss the matter.
Horrendous company and I can’t help but feel that these companies are scammers.

If I could leave one star then I would- massively unhelpful and when explaining I’ve tried to contact the parking company in regards to making payment but was ignored, I was pretty much told ‘tough’ and that there is nothing they can do. I was also told it’s with them now so the company will not be interested in discussing the matter with me and that they will simply continue to send me letters or take me to court. I feel considering everyone has this issue it’s clearly something that needs addressing but the company clearly are failing to do that!

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Aggressive and Discriminatory Treatment – Case ID: 322896042

Dear TRACE Debt Recovery UK Ltd,

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my recent telephone conversation on 21 July 2025 with a member of your staff, Tina Walker, regarding Case ID 322896042 / Client Reference 212946457.

I am shocked and deeply distressed by the manner in which I was treated. I called your office to discuss my ongoing case, which I had previously responded to via email on 25 May 2025. I received an email acknowledgement but no further response. During the call, I attempted to explain the full situation—including that I had parked for approximately 20 minutes with my disabled mother, had displayed a valid Blue Badge, and had confirmed with a traffic warden at the time that it was fine to park there. I also made it clear that I had not received any correspondence from Park Direct UK Ltd prior to your letters.

Instead of listening or helping to resolve the matter, Tina Walker was extremely rude, dismissive, and aggressive. She continuously pressured me to pay or set up a payment plan, ignored my request to have my previous correspondence considered, and refused to provide any meaningful information or support. She used threatening language, suggesting I go to court if I did not pay immediately, which only caused me significant emotional distress.

I find this kind of conduct wholly unacceptable. Your own letters explicitly state:

“It’s important you contact us now to resolve this matter.”
Yet when I did so, I was met with hostility and no willingness to help. Ms. Walker repeatedly stated she could not assist and that “standard replies” were the only outcome.

I am currently going through serious health conditions, and this encounter has significantly worsened my wellbeing. Her attitude lacked basic empathy and professionalism, and I was left feeling targeted, dismissed, and intimidated. I cannot help but feel that her refusal to assist and her aggressive tone were influenced by discriminatory bias, particularly because of my name and ethnic background. I hope I am wrong, but I must raise this concern formally as no other explanation justifies such disrespectful treatment.

Furthermore, I remind you that as a customer involved in a dispute over a private parking charge, I have rights under:
• The Consumer Rights Act 2015
• The Equality Act 2010, which requires reasonable adjustments and fair treatment of disabled individuals
• The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Guidelines on fair debt collection practices, which prohibit harassment, discrimination, and misleading behaviour

I do not accept liability for this charge, and I am still seeking fair and reasonable resolution of the matter. I am therefore requesting:
1. An immediate formal investigation into the conduct of Tina Walker;
2. A full review of my case, taking into account the email I sent on 25 May 2025;
3. Written confirmation that this matter will be paused and re-evaluated in light of the above;
4. A clear explanation of your complaints process and next steps.

I expect a written response within 14 days. If this is not resolved satisfactorily, I will escalate this to the Financial Ombudsman, the British Parking Association (BPA), and the Equality and Human Rights Commission, and will not hesitate to seek legal advice.

I hope to see this matter resolved in a just and respectful manner.

Yours sincerely,
Sam Bashir

What a company to deal with! And not in a positive way! They stipulate in their letter they are available to help and support 🤣🤣 I have emailed everyday- sometimes twice. Their phone lines keep me on hold for ever and yet im still here, waiting their response.
The best bit is- they are chasing a debt that doesn't exist. It was never a debt. Confirmed in writing by the company who apparently escalated it.
All evidence sent across. Nobody acknowledges it. And with the 14 days grace rapidly coming to an end, I can see this heading to the financial ombudsman to deal with.
It all could simply be sorted with acceptable customer service and people to actually converse with!

I would like to give no stars!!
I received a letter from Trace Debt Recovery Uk Limited to say I owed £160 for an unpaid parking ticket from June 2021 ! When I checked the date and the location there was simply no way it could be true as I work about 200 miles from there and it was a Tuesday so I was at work with my car ! I explained this in an email back to them and asked them to show me photographic evidence of my car being parked in this particular car park. The email I received back simply stated that I had contacted them on an email address they didn’t recognise! To which I replied further that I had never had any correspondence from any parking company for a parking fine in the past four years and so I would not have given an email address prior to this first one I’d sent !! I said I could only assume that this company is running a scam as there is no way my car was there on that day four years ago!! I hadn’t heard anything for a few more weeks then today I received another letter from them saying they are going to take me to court and I will have county court judgement against my name if I don’t pay !!
I will be trying to call their phone number tomorrow as they’re clearly not interested in responding to my emails! I will be interested to hear what they say and will look forward to them taking me to court with no evidence at all!
Interesting to read other people’s reviews on here with very similar stories !

My elderly father keeps getting texts (no other correspondence received) from them asking to call regarding an unpaid debt and legal action, no information on this text other than the number to call which corresponds with this business - when I phoned on his behalf spoke to an extremely unhelpful man who said they had no case linked to the postcode at all - then tried to get further information from me e.g. car reg - clear use of threatening and intimidation tactics. Disgusting behaviour.
