I’ve had a system installed in Nov 2021. My app stopped working in summer of 2023. Rang numerous numerous times, told I’d be given a call back… NOTHING.
Gave up on getting app to work as they told me on the phone that my software on my inverter was outdated and that’s why it wasn’t working… no mention of warranty or anything.
I then went on to simply try and contact someone to setup my system that I could charge my battery at night between 2am& 4am, same applied nobody got back to me, minimum of 5 calls, NOTHING. Very disappointing it’s woeful service in my view

I unfortunately had the misfortune of trusting (TC Renewables, rebranding as TRE energy half way through my quote) to carry out solar installation work on my property approx. 1 year ago. The lack of communication with the company and the lack of transparency / receipts given via their chosen revolut payment platform was abysmal at best.

Eventually and after some negotiation the work was carried out and to a standard which I was happy with.

Only 1 year later however when carrying out maintenance on one of my roofs did I discover that this company had not connected the solar panels on this roof AT ALL. This meant that I had a full year whereby 1/4 of my solar system that I bought and paid for was not connected to anything!

I found the installers to be pleasant and professional at the time, but not connecting items that customers paid for is shady at best and is most UNprofessional.

I wish I had went elsewhere at the start and used what I felt to be pure ignorance and arrogance of their office worker as a sign of things to come.

Pay cheap, pay twice. Beware

Have had my Solar Panel system installed 3 years. It has met and even exceeded the generation amounts originally quoted. The Installation carried out by TC Renewables was to the highest standards and all work was completed on time with no mess left. Very happy to recommend.

We are very pleased with the system and the team at TCR .
I did my researched (perhaps too much) before going for my solar system, knew what I wanted .
5.4kw system, zappie2 electric car charger 7.5kwh batteries, Eddie device, for hot water.

Was not oversold more than I needed if anything they tried at the start for me go for smaller system. But as I have electric car the excess solar is never wasted.
Very competitive pricing another installer wanted 50% more for exact same setup.
Work was done when Stated and any issues we had where resolved.

Very happy with solar panels. I installed a 6.5 Kw system which is generating an income of just over £1,000. It is saving me about £600 per year on electricity. Very worthwhile outlay. The roofing installation by TC renewables was excellent and would recommend them to anybody to carry out this installation.

I had Solac 200 installed in Nov 2020, it stopped working in May 2023, i rang several times and a trainee came out twice but failed to repair it. I am very disappointed on the lack of customer service provided and dont even know if it is working at all. I would not reccommend this company because of this lack of support.

Very happy with my solar panels water is constantly hot. No need to burn oil or use emersion heater for hot water. Excellent job by the installation team and great after sales service. Would recommend to anyone.
