Extremely great service! Got my battery refurbished on a 2005 Prius. The car is driving like new and Sal even threw on a mirror cover that was missing for free. Great responsiveness, got the problem fixed for the cheapest price I could find in the area!! Honestly, it’s everything you could ask for in a Mechanic. Would definitely recommend

I would say this is one of the best mechanics in the DMV for hybrid cars. I have a 2010 Prius that had a hybrid battery issue. After searching a lot on Google, I found this mechanic shop. When I visited this shop, he diagnosed my car and found out it was a hybrid battery issue. He changed the hybrid battery at a very cheap price. I would say he is the only mechanic who won't charge you extra or try to change a lot of parts in your car. He is definitely trying to save your money. I have never had the same experience with fixing my car before.

Sal is a genius!
He is straightforward, will explain you all odds patiently. Will try not to give you false hope, BUT he will figure out what is wrong and get it DONE at the end of the day!

I've visited Sal twice in the last year and it's always been a pleasure working with him. First mechanic I have trusted in awhile.

I drive a 2011 Toyota Prius and he's helped me diagnose problems every single time. 150k miles, drive pretty regularly.

First visit was for a brake job + EGR valve maintenance and he did up the whole thing without trying to oversell the need. Car was getting the check engine light and that fixed it. He even threw in a cleaning of my engine bay, a hybrid battery fan, and charged a FAIR price.

Second visit was for the o2 sensor, catalytic converter, and this weird surging problem my Prius was running into. He diagnosed and even tested a "good" o2 sensor prior to confirming it was the issue. Truly wanting to find the exact issue rather than guessing at it (like some other mechanics).

I plan on staying in touch but would highly recommend him for your hybrid car needs.

Sal is the man, like others have said before me. Easy to see why I am going to be a returning customer, when other independent shop misdiagnosed my issue (with 4.9 rating after 700+ reviews), and a Toyota dealership in the past would charge me $2.5k+ for a simple fix, on the merit of extra work/calibrations (allegedly) needed. Just take your Toyotas after warranty here, Sal knows his stuff - actually diagnosed what was wrong with my car by the noise ALONE, and it wasn't a "typical" issue that my make/model/generation would be facing.

Came here to get a better understanding of how much life my 9 year old hybrid battery has left and to get my hybrid cooling fan cleaned. Sal was very knowledgeable and left me with a very good impression. I’ll be back in the future for any needs that pertain to the hybrid system of my vehicle.
