My switch to Octopus turned out to be a very drawn out affair because of a recent Smart meter install by my old supplier which was necessary as meters at my house had reached end of life. With the requirement to also make an initial DD payment before qualifying for the welcome bonus the whole process took over 2 months before Octopus credited the RAF bonus. Chris however paid me within 24 hours of Octopus settling things from their end and he also responded quickly to a couple of questions I had during that time. I've emailed twice through website and once through Facebook and no response. I used Chris's referral on the basis of the good reviews but my experience does not match the reviews unfortunately. Very disappointing experience.
Update: Chris contacted me and has made amends and has also taken action to avoid any repeats. So it ended with a positive outcome.
