I was looking for an Ecologist to help me carry out a Biodiversity Net Gain calculation and report for my planning permission application, which I needed to submit to Sunderland Council.

After speaking with up to nine businesses regarding this, Tim and Debbie at Tyne Ecology were the only people who stood out to me by going through the whole process regarding BNG, what it entails and how they can help moving forward.

After commissioning them to carry out the calculation and report, I have to say their service was first-class from start to finish. They even spoke with Sunderland Council on my behalf to see where money could be saved in obtaining the right amount of credits to help offset what I was aiming to do with a piece of land I had purchased from the local housing association.

Nothing was too much trouble and they were quick and above all helpful with what I was aiming to achieve.  I cannot recommend them highly enough if you have a project that requires Biodiversity Net Gain as their service and commitment were second to none!
