When the day came for installation the team of 6 all knew exactly what their job was, worked hard and well together, and were polite and friendly. The handover was thorough and understandable. Great service from start to finish. They took care of all the necessary paperwork to gain approval from my local electricity supplier. The installation date was convenient, and the team arrived when promised. Due to the nature of my roof design, it took a second day to complete the installation, but I was kept fully in the loop. Unfortunately, again due to the roof design, the system did not work as advertised. I was not even aware there was an issue until the team turned up 2 days after installing the solar
EV panels to reconfigure the wiring. Everything is now sorted. Overall I was very impressed with the whole process, from initial design review, installation and aftercare support. I would especially like to thank Ben, John and Bella for all their hard work. Much appreciated.

I have used UK Alternative Energy Ltd, since we moved in to our new-build property for the servicing of our air source heat pump system and I can honestly say that they are an easy company to deal with and often go above and beyond, which now days is rare. The staff are so friendly and customer focussed. If an issue occurs they endeavour to assist as quickly as possible, even to the point of trying to assist via text or video call until they are able to attend. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anybody.

After contacting two different companies we decided to go with UK Alternative Energy partly because they are local but also their quotes were comprehensive and easy to understand. Very happy with our decision, having had the solar fitted first and seeing the quality of the work we called them back to quote for a heat pump. Although they were not the cheapest quote they got the job and again this proved to be a good decision, Bradley who fitted the system was very good supported by Sean their work is some of the neatest I’ve seen. They may be young but the pride in their work is easy to see and the finished job is better than expected. After supply issues we now have had the battery fitted to complete our new system again the work was completed in a clean and timely manner by David who’s attention to detail is very evident in the finished job.
We are very happy with our system and the work that went into it and would recommend Uk Alternative Energy to anyone.

FANTASTIC. IF ONLY WE FOUND THEM EARLIER
After an horrendous experience with another company ( not local ) we decided to try again but more cautiously. We asked more questions all of which were answered in a way we could grasp. We accepted the offer of a visit from Lee to talk through UK Alternative Energy’s role, costs, possible batteries and panel layouts. Lee followed up with emailed details regarding battery and layout options. There was no hard cell and no pressure to sign on the dotted line. We felt decisions were entirely ours to make. Having decided we went ahead with Lee’s hand on the tiller. Everything happened when we were told it would. Installation went smoothly and at the end of the installation day the system was fully functional. Our panels are spread over four different roofs and so was a little unusual but the installation team didn’t bat an eyelid, they were polite, took time to explain the system answering all our questions and they tidied up at the end of the day. Every email phone calls and text was answered. These days that’s a feat in its self. We were amazed at how fast everything happened, from the first contact to the finished installation. We had made a terrible mistake with the previous company in that we were going to be sold a system that wasn’t going to work for our house? that company had failed us miserably and not acknowledging so much of our roof is going to be in the shade. Yes, we ended up paying more, but we’ve got a system that is actually going to deliver on what it says. This company really knows their stuff. Before you think of going anywhere else, please give UK alternative energy a ring and if you know nothing about solar panels, but you know a lot you still will be served brilliantly by them. No hesitation in recommending this company. Thanks to you all at UK A.E I hate to think of what we could’ve ended up with if we hadn’t have found you.

We used Alternative Energy UK some years ago to supply and fit our solar panels. They did an outstanding job then, so it was logical to use them again when we were thinking about installing an air source heating system to replace our all electric heaters. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, approachable, professional and reliable. The guys who actually did the installation were clean, tidy, considerate, punctual and incredibly hard working. They kept the upheaval to a minimum and everything was completed in 4 days, right on schedule.
They have been great to deal with and I would thoroughly recommend them. The system itself is great and for the first time in 20 years our house is nice and toasty throughout! Very happy indeed.
