It's taken from 10th October until 7th January to make nothing but a mess!
Constantly fobbing me off with further 'repairs' that my 9year old could of done better!
Never communicate and if they do they never stick to what they say!

We're enduring ongoing work at our disabled relative's council bungalow. What was arranged has not been delivered and they require constant supervision because they do not do what they say they will do.
They started off by installing a key safe, but didn't set the number so anyone could open it to get the key. We had to set a number ourselves for security.
Our relative is staying with us while work is being done, the company have already started to go over time without even contacting us to say they were going to, causing distress to our relative and huge inconvenience to us.
We caught one staff member actively lying. He tried to say someone was there doing work when my husband had just been, no-one was there and only one tiny job had been done. He knew he'd been caught out lying. Same staff member said it was day 6 when it was day 7. This open lying makes us believe this company is untrustworthy, it also raises the question what is happening to vulnerable people who are having work done by this company that don't have someone to advocate for them?
My husband shouldn't have to use his break time from his job to keep checking on the ongoing work, but it's necessary. What we have seen so far is sub standard work, lying and avoidance. All this while they're doing work in a disabled person's home. We suspect we'll have to finish the work ourselves. This company does shoddy work and has a bad attitude. I'm concerned about safety now too.
Maybe they'll come through in the end? I'm prepared to change this review if they do a normal job to the standard an ordinary person would accept, rather than what appears to be any old half done rubbish will do if it's for a vulnerable disabled person in a council property.

They have just finished a complete bathroom refurbishment and I couldn't be happier. The workmen were professional, efficient, friendly and discrete. I was at work alot of the time but didn't worry about them being in my home. Everyone if them left the place very very clean and tidy. They even came out when my heating went off, even though by rights it should if been a heating contractor. Highly recommend this company from my experience

Absolutely disgusted with this company who left bare plaster patches on my kitchen and lounge ceilings,, after receiving a quote of £90 to have the ceilings put right ( on artex ceilings) the company was not interested and could only say it was unfortunate, do not use this company

UK Gas installed my central heating system around 1994. They replaced the boiler some years ago and call every year in Autumn for its servicing, They've replaced the kitchen sink taps, sorted out the replacement parts for the thermostat (Dave Riley brilliant ) on my Grohe shower and recoursed some ugly copper piping that was on the outside wall of the house. Very pleased. The girls on the phone are very polite and efficient. Can recommend.

I have been delighted with the new boiler that was fitted 4 weeks ago and with the service I received from UK Gas Services. I am very particular (!) and wanted to adjust some elements of the quote and they were excellent at coming back to me and negotiating on my behalf with Worcester Bosch. I would say they went above and beyond my expectation in this regard and I was very pleased. The boiler was fitted in 2 days and UK Gas Services returned to do some additional work which I requested. The plumbers that came out were all friendly, professional and got on with the job quickly. At all times the company were contactable and got back to me in good time. The price was reasonable and fair and I would highly recommend them. I have not been disappointed!

Our initial impression of this company was good. When we moved into a new house they were able to come out at short notice and get the boiler going as it had been unused for several months. We then called on them again when we realised the boiler was losing pressure. A different engineer came out and gave advice and said he'd order a part. Luckily, the boiler is usable but it still needs the part as it regularly loses pressure.

Since then things have gone downhill. We have had no communication from the company. We have left multiple phone messages and emails asking for an update. we were billed for the second call out (even though we were assured that we wouldn't have to pay until the job was complete).

When we have actually managed to speak to someone we have been told that:
- there was no one available to speak to about the issue at the moment but someone would ring us back (they never have, many times)
- there was no record of any part being ordered
- we wouldn't have to pay the £60 call out for the second visit until the job was finished.

We STILL haven't heard anything. We still 'owe' £60 but the job remains unfinished. I'm resorting to this review in the hope that SOMEONE from the company will pull their finger out and get in touch.

Ok. An addition to this review. The work has been completed. The engineers were friendly and knew what they were doing.
Communication remains my biggest issue both between us and the company (see above), but also seemingly within the company (messages not being passed on, wrong parts being ordered). Maybe we just got unlucky.

We Was very happy with the work that has been done fitting a new electric boiler/heating system. The guys did a brilliant job they where very professional and polite. I Would highly recommend this company for any of your work that you need undertaking. And the work was completed on the date agreed and completed to a very high standard. very very happy
