My car engine was overheating after severe leakage of coolant after the thermostat housing broke on my way home from Bishop to the Bay area. The first auto shop referred by O'Reiley Auto Parts (across street) would not even want me to bring my vehicle in because they were busy. O'Reiley directed me to Union Auto. I could tell that they were busy too. However, they were willing to work on my vehicle right away and got it fixed within two hours. They charged for the job at a very reasonable price. After the repair, I was able to drive 300 miles home without any problem.

I am sure that, without Union Auto's help, I would be stuck in Bishop for at least a week waiting for an auto shop to spare time to work on my vehicle.

The shop did not look tidy or modern. However, they provided great service and workmanship and humanity help. They were really super nice down to earth people. As they told me, they loved to help people. Highly recommended.

Excellent service. Super knowledgeable and kind folks here. The owner worked super hard to fit us in after our car was towed down to them. He had our car back running within 24 hours. Could have easily upcharged us under the conditions, but instead did a few extra diagnostics free. They will have all our business now. Super grateful for their awesome service.

My SUV popped a radiator hose he came and got me towed me back to town fixed my vehicle and got me back on the road...super cool guy very helpful definitely recommend him for auto work or a tow...thanks dude you are awesome

I’m not sure what I would have done if Union Automotive hadn’t been able to repair my car. I had driven all the way down from Seattle and not one other place in town would fit me into their schedule. Union Automotive got me back on the road so I can return safely. Great service and workmanship. And they’re all super nice people.

Great, reliable and friendly service. I was on a Father’s Day weekend trip with my sons in Bishop when my truck overheated. Mr. Santana and his staff were able to service my truck promptly and even gave us a ride to and from the local rodeo while my truck was being worked on. It’s not a good feeling having your car break down while on vacation hundreds of miles away from home but Union Automotive got us back on the road in a couple hours. The vacation continued and we made it home safe without any issues. Thank you Union Automotive!

This is a great shop. I had stopped at dozens of Automotive shops from Blythe to Bishop. No one would even take the time to diagnose why I didn’t have Air conditioning, I stopped at this shop and asked Cesar if he possible to look and diagnose, he did. Said he would come in the next day Saturday, gave me an estimate (very reasonable) to replace the compressor that had failed. I live in Oregon, and would come back any time to have them do any maintenance, in fact will have him put in a new double filter fuel pump. Thanks Cesar, and Misael

Great service, they helped me fix a minor issue on the spot while other auto services in town gave me the run around. Brought a folding chair out while on my road trip and had a good chat with some other patrons, the vibes are nice here!
