Funky. Entertaining. Jazzy. It’s my favourite power plant. It is my yearly tradition to leave a review on this god damn thing and I will miss it. It fills my heart with sorrow to be parted from this power plant. Bye bye power plant. Slay queen.

Well what can I say. Like my father once said, the Uniper Technologies Power plant is the "Gateway to Nottingham"!

Saying that myself and my colleague, Will, (remain anonymous) said that although food served promptly his main was disappointing as his burger was burnt but yet still somehow cold. When raised this to the waiter he said "we are just a staff canteen at a power plant" and asked us both to leave. Disappointing to say the least.

I didn't visit the site I just drove past it as I regularly do and have done for the last twenty years.

I consider this marvelous set of structures to be the Gateway to Nottingham and they should be preserved as they add value both to the landscape and to East Midlands Parkway. They can be seen from many places on this side of Nottinghamshire and I'm always thrilled when they unexpectedly peer over the edge of the landscape. I'd love the opportunity to have a guided tour.
