I’ve been a customer of this company for a few years, and they consistently exceed my expectations. Their gas and electricity services are reliable and have helped me save a significant amount of money. Their customer service is outstanding—friendly, professional, and always willing to assist. Switching to them was one of the best decisions I’ve made, and I genuinely enjoy doing business with them. They offer excellent value, great support, and a hassle-free experience. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality service and substantial savings. Truly a standout in the energy sector!

My mum is with them and her English isn’t great and I usually have to step in and help when she’s on the phone with service people but this guy was absolutely fantastic with her. She had him on speaker and he walked her through it all in terms she would understand ensuring she understood vulnerability claims and what she was paying and that she wouldn’t pay more than she needed to. Honestly ten minutes before she called them I was telling her switch to octopus but now I’m like yes stay with uw. Honestly very impressed I wish I got his name so I could leave an even better review he was very sweet and patient with her and genuinely without knowing anyone was watching looked out for her best interests.

DO NOT USE.....You discussed me. You've left my father with no phone since September. You miss sold him a contract even though he has none capacity. Then you broke every promise, failed to do anything you said, repeatedly lied to me, never took a complaint seriously , failed on all complaint target times, LEFT IT TO ME TO CALL FOR ANSWERS EVERY TIME and I'm still waiting for a response. You are despicable, dishonest and not equipped to deliver any level of customer service. How are you still in business

I've been with UW for years and they started okay and then the prices just started going up to the point I was paying almost £300 in summer while barely using any service . When I looked properly into my bill, I was being charged for services I transferred months ago and despite contacting customer service many times, they continued to charge me. After 3 angry calls I finally got refund. But I still got charged for that service so I only partially paid the bill - minus the part they overcharged me

The company said nothing but instead went and DISCONNECTED my broadband - a different service, WITHOUT notice!!!

Is this even legal?

From now on I'll be telling everyone to stay away from them as they'll find ways to take your money and act unlawfully when you try to protect yourself

How do I put -5 stars

WORST COMPANY EVER!! Too a whole year to set me up and still they haven't done it properly, still sending debt for previous tenant and trying to make me pay for it. I've called, emailed and messaged on their site and it's like they only have 1 person working there and when I spoke to them on the phone he spend 30 minutes trying to sell me other services, I think I'll pass given you can't provide the one I've got properly!! Do not use this company!!

Only been with this company a month and hasn’t been great to say the least. The internet connection kept going on my PlayStation and tv and kept having to put the password in a lot, lost connection a lot and had to reboot the broadband a lot. I also think it’s ridiculous that we have to pay £300 to cancel even though the time we have had has been awful. I guess that’s the way of making you stay. Wouldn’t

You might think you are saving with them but it’s not worth it.

Used to be a good company, now completely different to my old experiences. Ive just rang them up as a few hundred pounds of my money has gone missing out of my utility warehouse account a couple of weeks ago. I did call them straight away and they said it’s happened to lots of people and it’s a software fault and my money is in a holding account and I should get it back within 5 days. That was a couple of weeks ago. I rang today, waited 20 mins to speak to someone, told him what happened, he put me on hold, then after another 20 mins he came back on the line, the waiting music stopped and he hung up on me. Really disappointed and will take my business elsewhere and not trust these ever again!

Our gas, electricity, broadband, landline and mobile phones are all provided by Utility Warehouse together with a cashback debit card. One bill per month paid on a direct debit from our bank account, (plus the top ups for the prepaid debit card according to it's usage). Using comparison sites I find that I am usually on the cheapest tariffs or close thereto for the various elements charged -(sometimes I've never heard of the competitors, which would make me worry as once I did jump ship only for the supplier to go bust).
Using the cashback card gains a reduction in the monthly payment needed according to how much is spent through it. Fortunately we gain a 3% payback at our favourite supermarkets, Aldi and Sainsbury's, great!
I haven't awarded 5 stars since on two or 3 occasions payment online using my cashback card has not been authorised for unspecified reasons in spite of funds being available.
Customer service has always been very good, though telephone answering is sometimes slower than it used to be, - the price of success I suppose!
