It took this company 3 separate installation attempts and then 2 troubleshooting visits to get me back to work. I work from home exclusively online and I was put out of business for over seven days. The best the company did was offer a pittance of $220 for my mental and financial troubles that they were responsible for. At the end of the fifth visit, when they spliced me into my own individual line and everything worked perfect, I asked why this could not have just happened the first time? I remember one of the techs told me, "You'll just have to suffer with us [while we figure it out]" I was floored. I spoke to one of the supervisors (they all know me there) and repeated the comment and made sure they knew nobody was suffering but me.

I average over $1000 a week and faced food insecurity and financial hardship as a result of switching to Vexus. Also, being a woman, I had nothing but male technicians in and out of my house, speaking down to me, asking if I was SURE it wasn't my equipment? I felt like I was being gaslit at times because the men couldn't admit that they were stumped. There was so many mornings where I just shook my head, let them cut holes in my wall, and wish I had a husband so I wouldn't have been treated so poorly.

There was also a separate issue where the contractors that Vexus hired knocked on my door during the fiber installation and told me they had hit my sewer line but that "their guy fixed it." I immediately escalated the situation to a Vexus supervisor, recorded the conversations where Vexus said they would send a plumber out to check the pipe, and of course they never did. This was two years ago, when I signed up with them back in August or September of 2024 I think, I told them about the incident, they gave me a huge run around about whose fault it was, left me on hold about it for weeks at a time, until I finally forced the supervisor to address this. A plumber was sent out (2 years after the event occured and maybe 3 weeks after I was pressing them to recently) and finally I was taken care of.

I found most of the men to be very misogynistic and some of the women I spoke to on the customer service line agreed when I commented to that fact. It's an absolute boy's club, and everyone knows it. I felt so degraded by the entire experience.

Only had for a few days and cancelled due to previous provider offering a better price.

The service was fine. Upload speed was extremely fast but the download speed, the more important one, was a bit lower than my current provider. Not slow by any means though and was consistent overall.

Not the biggest fan of how I'm expected to pay for the installation when all other providers in my area do not charge for that. Also not a fan of how they will run the line through the air by default and I had to request it be buried, which should be the standard since I'm expected to pay for the install.

Pricing is a bit disingenuous since there is an additional fee that you have to pay on top of their advertised rate. In other words, you will probably not save that much money by switching, unless you are currently paying an outrageous price through a different provider. To be clear, it is still cheaper but not by very much.

Vexus is the best we used to have optimum but we were paying $80 for only 300mbps and now that we switched we only pay $57 for 1 gig fiber internet way faster than optimum, they also just added a eero in my room because I have slower speeds in my room would recommend Vexus Fiber if it's available in your area ?

I'm just on my first month of service but so far so good. I went to the sales office to cooridante my new service after the most disappointment experience with Frontier. Within 10 minutes, i had service set-up and my installation was done same day. My follow up questions were answered even after leaving the office. The quality of the internet surpassed my expectations and for the first time ever, I'm actually registering getting the internet speed I'm paying for. I should have done the switch way sooner. Special thanks to my sales rep Andrea and my tech Ryan who did such a clean and professional installation compared to my awful last installation job when my house was damaged. Great team and thank you for taking care of us.

I have been with Vexus for 2 years, the door to door guy came and showed how the bill would work. An increase of $10 until year 4 then the price would stop at $99. I dealt with a few hiccups in the beginning and finally got over the torn up yard... almost 2 weeks before someone came and laid the fiber, internet not running at the correct speed but then things got better. Fast forward a year, my bill went up $20. upset I contacted the BBB. Finally a nice woman called and the price went down to just a $10 increase. Fast forward to year 2, the price went up $10 then the next month another $10. I called and the guy that answered the phone said my bill will go up another $10 next year. I was like, It better not, I was told my bill will never go above $99 and that price would not go that high until year 4 (once again it has only been 2 years and my bill is $92). Once again I went to the BBB because apparently the woman I spoke with last year isnt working there anymore or so I was told. The person writing on the BBB from Vexus is pointing the finger my way instead of fixing their confusion. I did not agree to anything going over $99 and I certainly did not agree to a $20 increase each year. What I DID agree to is a $10 increase for 4 years until I reached the 4 year mark and it staying at $99 a month. After all of this, I am having a bit of a trust issue here!
