I had the pleasure of being assisted by Anthony from O2’s customer service team, and I must say, his professionalism and dedication were truly outstanding. From the very beginning, Anthony was extremely patient, attentive, and understanding, taking the time to listen carefully to my concerns without rushing me.

He explained every step of the process clearly, ensuring I fully understood the situation and possible solutions. What impressed me most was his calm and reassuring manner, which made a potentially stressful issue feel easy to resolve.

Anthony went above and beyond to ensure my problem was resolved efficiently and effectively, and he followed through until I was completely satisfied. It’s rare to come across customer service representatives who combine expert knowledge with genuine care for the customer — Anthony is a shining example of both.

Virgin Media told me they can move the services to my new place. After moving they played with me for weeks saying they are sending an engineer to me every day to install the services in my new home. At the end I didn’t use any internet, yet I paid the bill for the month. When I finally got told after weeks that they can’t install services in my new property I cancelled the DD and now they sent BPO collections after me to pay more?! The most disgusting provider out there!! I’m happy I switched to another provider!! Shame on you! Train your staff better! I hope you enjoy the nearly £100 extra quid you got off me now! Disgusting.

Last week I received the most FANTASTIC service from o2. Would give 6 or 7 * if I could. JINOEL in o2 telephone help centre spent almost an HOUR getting my mobile working again after it died (while abroad) when 3G was switched off. I was pretty much resigned to getting it urgently replaced, but somehow he eventually managed to get it onto 4G and working again.
He was determined not to give up on me. As the phone is 4-5 years old, I'll be in the O2 shop on my return to the UK buying a newer model.

If there is a way to rate them in minus i would do that, was moving house, clearly mentioned them the move date as 17th, they noted it down as 20th and al the teams kept telling me my move date is 20 and cant do anything before that, was out of internet for 3 days thanks to customer executive not taking the date of moving correctly.

Increases their prices in line (if not above) inflation, but the service stays the same (mediocre at best)… idk how this keeps happening in 2023. Would have changed providers by now but sadly my area has been monopolised by Virgin and no other provider can give me any speed above 40Mb.

Edit: the service has since improved hence changing the rating from 1 to 3.

I must tell others about how O2 treated me from October 2024, case still ongoing
I signed up at the end of September 24 with new mobile of Samsung fold 6 and decided to returned it on 1st October by royal mail received by them on 3rd of October. Despite my repeated contacts at least 25 times for the following 3 months providing the customer service each time with my retun's proof reference number, and each time I was promised the case would be resolved but never done. I was promised by 3 managers on the phone that the case would be concluded and no further action needed but apparently I was told lies as credit collectors company started to chase me for £1800 as cost of the handset cost. Even my £250 (pre order payment had to pay at time of contract) hasn't been paid yet in my account by the time I am writing this review. I was even offered £100 by the latest manager as compensation following my complaint I submitted to the company wasnt actioned. The worst part I was emailed by Imitiaz from O2 resolution centre about my complaint asking for my proof of purchase I made, despite I sent the requested document I haven't received any further communication since 13th December even i sent reminder emails on 15th and 27th December 2024 and on the 6th Jan 25.
I could have written a very long review with dates and persons I spoke each time but no need at this stage.
Yesterday I was promised the case would be closed and my money would be paid back. Will update this review when this rubbish company acts in decent way to give me my money
