VitoEnergy are a brilliant company to do business with. Charlotte is fabulous - quick to respond, kind, patient and helpful, giving clear information about the charges for any call-out or parts and always managing to find a slot in the diary to get someone out to me asap!
Dave is second to none - friendly, professional and hugely knowledgeable and will slog away at a problem until it is resolved. He has undertaken regular boiler services and, more recently, has resolved a couple of odd glitches with my heating and hot water.
VitoEnergy are simply the nicest bunch of people and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

I recently requested access to VITO's Umbrella scheme to assist with MCS sign-off and design for a large project that I would not have had the confidence to undertake independently.

From the beginning, nothing was too much trouble. They were professional and courteous with my client and consistently available for advice and product support.

The entire team was fantastic, alleviating all the stress associated with system design and invoicing, allowing me to focus on the installation.

Josh completed the job sign-off , and with the system operating at 500% efficiency, I can confidently say it was the best decision I have made.

Thank you to everyone involved.

I reached out Vito during the (very) late part of the refurbishment project for an ASHP installation. They were very responsive and aligned their agenda for helping me complete the project on time.

Not only they provided a wonderful support and completed full setup in a reasonable time, they also supported my builder to deliver things up to the standard. I want to thank Adam, James & Greg for their great effort.

I wish I have contacted earlier and offloaded all parts of the installation to Vito instead of the builder. I would definitely recommend Vito for anybody planning ASHP installation.

VitoEnergy was instrumental to upgrade our brand new home from a gas boiler to an energy efficient heap pump whilst installing underfloor heating to the whole ground floor. they thoroughly improved not just efficiency but comfort. They also helped us obtain the BUS grant which was essential for this large job. Ben is a great engineer and a pleasure to work with.

Modifications to my heat pump system and the addition of supplementary monitors was performed over 4 days by 3 engineers, James Ashby, James Macken and Noel Gericke. They were very organised, tidy, pleasant and helpful. So far the results appear to be an improvement to the efficiency of my heating system with an anticipated reduction on the already lower running costs of the heat pump compared with my old oil fired system.

Recently I instructed Vito Energy Ltd to undertake the installation of a Grant VortexAir 15/21KW-17kw. After extensive research and consultation with Grant Boilers they recommended Vito to carry out the installation for me. I liked the fact that Vito run courses in the education of renewable energy to others in the industry, and they carry out a full heat loss for the property to calculate pipe and emitter sizes, a vital exercise! I did obtain quotations from other companies who were in fact considerably cheaper.
I decided to employ Vito after meeting with Patrick on site, he gave me confidence in his knowledge in what is a very complex subject.
I met Neil a week before he was due to start this in itself was impressive as he was able to get a feel for the job in hand and order materials he required to start the job. Neil carried out the bulk of the work with Ben and Dave and there work and attention to detail was superb, not only that but they were polite, respectful and a pleasure to have around. I must also mention Mel in the office who kept me fully informed throughout the installation which made everything run very smoothly.
I think my installation was one of the last to be registered for the government’s RHI scheme which changed on 31st March 2022 and without Liam I think I would be still filling out the forms! He stayed late until it was complete which I will be eternally grateful for.
Thanks to Vito Energy I feel very smug because my ASHP works brilliantly. You read all the time negativity about ASHP undoubtedly due to incorrect installation. Was it worth the extra cost? 100%
I cannot recommend Vito Energy highly enough.

I would just like to thank Vito for a great job. They have a tight team of friendly, helpful staff. Adam did a thorough job on our heat loss survey an was always a helpful point of contact. I am very happy with the installation, our installer James is a credit to your company and works to a very high standard. James, Leon and Noel thank you for doing a A* job.

Overall, I felt their focus is on delivering a heating system with impressive energy efficiency rather than delivering a heating system that fits with the house (e.g. the locations of components were initially proposed based on performance rather than using the space in the way in which we wanted to use it) and providing a good customer experience.

The system

I’m happy so far (it was commissioned in April and we’re just going into December) with the system. It’s efficient, and the house and hot water seem to be warm enough. The fans of the HP are more or less silent in warm weather but can be heard even inside the house in cold weather, albeit not necessarily any more noisy than my old boiler and central heating pump. If it's not a problem for my neighbours, it's not a problem for me.

Aftercare

The lead installer, James Ashby, is very knowledgeable about the operation of the system and the theory behind it, and has been very responsive and helpful in addressing any issues I’ve had with it and in explaining its workings to me. I’ve also appreciated James Machen’s help and patience in resolving some snagging issues with the system.

The installation process

The issues I had with the installation process were:
-the availability/responsiveness our lead contact was generally poor. Neither I nor the main building contractor could get hold of them at points during the installation.
-the communication on costs was poor. Additional costs were incurred as we went along due to, for instance, groundwork. I’m not clear why that wasn’t covered at the outset. Some jobs were not done by Vito to save money off their invoice, but mean the main building contractor needed to do it instead so the costs were incurred with them.
-the invoice didn’t include properly making good on site, e.g. putting floorboards back properly after installing radiators. They seemed to expect us to incur additional cost with our main building contractor to have that done by a carpenter, and instead of Vito engaging a carpenter to put the floor back properly they left their heating engineers (who are heating engineers, not carpenters) to do the best they could. My flooring is now uneven in places.
-the communication on the works wasn’t clear. For instance, pipes that we were told would run under the floorboard were instead installed in the base of what was to become a fitted wardrobe, forcing the joiner to change the design to accommodate the pipes.
-we were initially offered a 48-month 0% APR finance package and agreed to that at the start of October 2023. By the end of November 2023, after waiting on that to come through so we could begin work, it still had not materialised so we had to abandon the idea of using finance to avoid any (further) delays to our renovations project.
