Another two successful projects finished with the help of the professional team at Voltacon.
My projects comprised of finding a good lighting solution for my workspaces in my office and in my workshop.Again I had to describe exactly what I needed and the team at Voltacon managed to deliver and overachieve one more time.
First parts was finding the correct light intensity and colour in my workshop. I have went for two 600x600 mm 40W LED panels with Philips drivers which deliver 4000cd each.Not only that the colour of the white replicates the sunlight perfectly but the homogeneity of the panels is so good it creates the perfect lighting for a studio. I tried to take several pictures in there and the lighting is just perfect.Panels were straightforward to fit and although there is an option to buy them with fixtures, I chose to do my own to give them a specific look.
Second project was puting ambient lighting on my desk to give it a nice look. This could have been done in so many ways but I like to complicate my life and I routed a perfect slot in the edge of the worktop so the LED strip fits snug inside. The other alternative would be just to stick it on the edge using the supplied 3M tape which comes with the stip standard but that's not what I wanted to do as I wanted to protect the strip from damage. At first I thought that the chosen LED strip was overkill for what I wanted to use it but in the end it only game me some ideas for future projects. Basically, this LED strip is not your usual strip, this one has got RGB plus CW(cold white) and WW(warm white) option.Furthermore it's got addressable LEDs meaning that if you want to tinker with it and put it through an Arduino unit you could potentially program some nice visual effects. Remote control was very easy to sync and it's straightforward to operate and gives you many options and modes to use the lights.

Top service!We received exactly what we needed for each room in particular.Voltacon have sorted all of our house up with LEDs and it looks gorgeous. The bulbs came in some tin cans which is something I've never seen as you don't find these in the shops. What really got me was the vintage looks of the bulbs but with LED technology. Overall really pleased with the service and definetely would buy again from Voltacon! Thanks guys!

I've spent quite a lot of money here, both back in 2021 and just recently, on lithium batteries. I think they (and many other electronics suppliers) got some rough / unfair reviews back in 2021/22, when it was like the wild west for solar and battery supplies, with the double hit of Russian gas price manipulation and short supply of electronics from China due to Covid.

My batteries back then took a few of months to arrive and I did get a little nervous, but communications were good throughout and they eventually turned up from China and were promptly delivered. This time around, I ordered another of the same battery, still at the best price online (with delivery), and it arrived on a next day shipment as promised and was up and running straight away. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I purchased 360 LED emergency bulkheads from them back in 2019. They all started failing after 18 months. I was assured 5yr warranty on parts, including batteries, over the phone & stupidly didn’t get it in writing from them.

The wholesaler I purchased the fittings through could not get in contact with anyone there. Numerous email, telephone calls to no avail. My business went under as a result of their lies & promises. The clue is in the title. Use at your own risk.

To add to their reply at 10:45am 21/01/24, like I said, I ordered a huge amount of light fittings that were all delivered incorrectly as a standard fitting. They then sent 100 as a temporary measure whilst the rest of the fittings with microwave sensors were made in china & then shipped weeks later. I placed the order through a wholesaler. The information they have posted shows the sample version I purchased.

If they were a decent enough outfit, their communication would have been much better post purchase. They did not honour their word & warranty. Like I said, my business folded & shut down as a result of their false promises.

If you had made it easier to communicate, kept your promises, the review would be better. It’s not a fake review. You essentially ruined my business.

Terrible experience! They sold me a product that did not perform as advertised. It was a complete hassle to return it, and now they are refusing to refund us. They are also bullying us with all sorts of false claims. Unbelievable company—it feels like it's run by a bunch of bullies and liars. Avoid them at all costs. We will take this as far as necessary; they won't get away with it.

I wanted to expand my home battery storage system, so I ordered an additional Pylontech US3000C battery, to match my existing batteries. There was a slight delay due to global supply issues, but this was only a few days. The company gave me a revised date, which proved accurate. It was simple to install and works perfectly. 20 meters of cable, £120 worth ordered on the 20th of September (PAID SHIPPING) and it’s only arrived today, over 2 weeks late. Delivered in a box, battered, not properly sealed, no packaging support inside, no reel for the cable, no anything but a bunch of beat up cable in a single cut thrown into a box. I’m not one to leave a bad review, but Voltacon you’ve got mine!
