clipper battery wouldn't hold charge, gave customer services all the info they needed, inc photos, but because it wasn't in the the 'right format', they weren't interested. won't be buying another Wahl product.

Awful product and service.
I have purchased Wahl 14 in 1 Body Groomer and Hair Clipper Kit 9855-2417X 554/7317 and I am not recommending it to anyone.
I bought it for my husband, after using it only twice it is broken. I called the company, first the telephone was ringing, but no one answered. After that the line was busy, I was trying hard to reach in vain;
Don't recommend this brand, avoid it!!!

Where's the zero-star option! Absoultely dreadful first experience having just purchased a pretty expensive clipper (The Senior) from them. Item arrived in a timely manner but then on opening the sealed pack, noticed some teeth missing from one of the guards. Then even worse, after charging the unit as recommended, it doesn't work at all ... will not switch on ... dead as a dodo! Helpline is closed, and no chat either. Instead you have to complete an online "email" and without getting an immediate email acknowledgement that they've received it, I'm in limbo! I just want my money back now! :'(

I ordered and paid for a hair clipper on 30/11/20. I phoned on 7/12/20, and was told it had been despatched to Royal Mail. Today, 11/12/20 Royal Mail say they still haven’t received it from Wahl. It was good to be able to speak to a customer service person, who gave me the tracking number, but it’s very disappointing that the goods haven’t been despatched yet.

Good prices for hair care equipment, for humans and animals. Repair service for their own equipment, reasonable prices. This is their main place in the UK, and had been since they started the UK operation many years ago. Or should be your first stop for trimmers, clippers, hairdryers, etc.
