Do not book a skip with these rip off merchants!!! Second week that no skip has arrived even though they assured us yesterday it would be here first thing. Office is closed so cannot contact anyone. Absolutely shocking!!

So a few minutes after posting this review we got a phone call to say the skipp would be here by 10am. It's now 10.38 and surprise surprise no skip has arrived!!!

10.50 and the skip has finally arrived 😀

Absolutely Shocking – A Complete Failure in 2025!

I cannot believe that in this day and age, a company can take an online booking for a skip – confirm it, take your money – and then turn around and say “Sorry, we don’t have one available.” Are you serious?

We live in a world where you can order a car, a pizza, or even a dog groomer at the touch of a button – and yet Waste Online can’t figure out if they actually have a skip before letting you book it? This is basic logistics 101. What’s the point of offering an online service if it can’t do the one job it promises?

Absolutely disgraceful. Wasted time, wasted effort, and ironically – a lot of waste still sitting in my driveway.

We called to hire a skip for next day delivery, they advised we had to submit the order online. We paid and arranged an available delivery on their website, only to have them say they could deliver it 10 minutes after we called and then placed the order. So we now have to wait for a refund when they simply could have said they couldn’t fulfil the order when we called initially. Really inconvenient when we need the money to put towards another company…

Customer service have been in touch and the result is a replacement skip. So i can get rid of the remainder of the waste that wasn't loaded. Agreed to 50% payment for the replacement due to mutual failings on both sides. I'm happy with the resolution.

I too had a skip delivered 5 days later than originally booked, which i agreed to as i had no other choice. It was then taken 5 days early. I lost my bank holiday weekend which was planned to be using the skip. Then subsequently lost another weekend to finish loading it. I wasn't consulted when the skip was collected, and the delivery driver stated you had to ring to arrange a delivery when required (which i was planning to do today). Came outside skip had been taken.

Great turnaround. I did panic as needed to ask some questions about delivery but the chat facility was great and they sorted quickly. They was accommodating in delivery times as I was working. I also had to delay collection at last minute (due to the great British weather!) and they again sorted quickly with no extra charges incurred. 🙂

No communication to say that skip collection was going to be delayed by 3 days. Have had to chase myself. Even though i had a text on the day to say it would be collected - no one turned up.
