I organised the UK Tech Founders Forum which was held at Wayra event space. Wayra is an innovative platform and Accelerator for tech startups. They are also committed to supporting minority founders in the tech ecosystem and provided the venue & support gratis. They also have a great track record of scaling startups to grow and goglobal and I would recommend application to the next cohort.

Wayra has an entire floor of the building and it's well laid out for the start ups that are in the incubator, each with their own semi-walled off space and desks. There are a number of meeting rooms and areas available to the companies too which is great. There are fridges filled with beer, though they are kept locked until Friday evenings or for events. There is a good event space that gets regular use, though strangely the companies who are in the space are not automatically allowed to go to the events that are then co-located with their offices.

I went here with STEP into stem for girls which is a mentoring group that helps get girls into STEM subjects . It’s truly amazing that Warya hosted this event because it’s really helping make the world equal . I was told about 5G which is btw going to just be a big leap in technology and really excel the human race. The building for warya is also very welcoming and beautiful and just like all the phone company bases very futuristic. I get amazing vibes as I walk in there .but only problem when I went is that there seems to be no cooling system And it was very very hot and I was literally sweating all day
