Otta is just a lotta nothing. I really don't understand the platform. I discovered Otta a few years ago and thought I found a hidden Jem. I even asked former colleagues if they have heard of it, and all said no. I applied to quite a few jobs on their website and always double-checked searching the companies to verify the positions were real. It all seemed promising, until I noticed nothing really happened to my applications. I either rarely receive an email that they received my app or them declining to move on. I just don't understand how a website supplies jobs but that's it. I wonder how they track applications' metrics. Feels like playing the lottery, hoping your application is pulled but never is.

I have been using the site for the better portion of a year. It has been made apparent that this does not work. I have applied to at least 4 jobs a week on this site alone for that time and have yet to even get a refusal email for an application. I am not sure exactly what they do here, bit it's not find employment. Since using it I have had a lot of fake texts about jobs asking for my ss#. I wouldn't suggest this page to anyone.

My experience with Otta was quite disappointing. As a recent graduate, I was hoping to find a platform with a good selection of job opportunities, but I found the options to be very limited. What frustrated me even more was the lack of response I received from the applications I submitted through Otta. It felt like my efforts were going unnoticed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend using Otta for job searching. There are simply better platforms.

A refreshingly different job-hunting experience.

Wonderfully functioning website with great aesthetic and detailed employer profiles (CEO backgrounds, relevant articles, investment data,etc).
Perfect for job-hunters looking for positions in start-ups and fast growing tech companies. The job postings have both quality and quantity.

After being made redundant from the travel industry I used Otta to identify which of my skills were transferable, find suitable employers and move my career in a new direction with an exciting new tech start-up.

I have been using Otta since Feb, it's supposed to find you jobs that are suited to you based on your preferences. I have found the jobs they show are too experienced or completely out of my area, so you can dismiss the job but then it still shows you similar jobs that are still too experienced or not the area you want to work in when you have already said you don't want to work in that area or it's too experienced. It just feels like another version of any other job sites out there and you hear nothing. I thought from reading fantastic LinkedIn articles about Ottas it would actually help me with my job search 9 months on and it hasn't done anything.
