I’ve been living here for almost a year now and have really been enjoying it. I feel really safe and there are so many great amenities such as a gym, a downstairs bar and cafe and a work space. The concierge and maintenance team are very helpful and kind and it’s a plus that they all love dogs and are very kind to mine. It’s a very dog friendly building which is a major plus. It’s also a great place to live and the tube and a nice park are a block away which is very convenient!

Look, only go here if you absolutely can’t find anywhere else! The apartment itself was nice enough and modern, albeit maybe a bit too pricey for the size and the area (there is hardly anything to do nearby unless you walk 20 minutes to Wembley Park). The reception staff are lovely while they are there - sadly something must be going on behind the scenes which has lead to a very high turnover rate of good staff members. On one occasion ALL of the water was not running, and there was nothing done to make up for it, not even free bottles of water. Hot water was on multiple occasions not working, and took some time to be fixed. Sure they tried to fix the problems promptly, and alerted us, but the fact that this happens regularly is not a good sign. There are 4 elevators to service all 20 floors, however most of the time only 2 are working, sometimes only 1. We were lucky to have working air conditioning, but knew a lot of unlucky people who stayed there for a year and never had working air con. The biggest disappointment was that WEM tried to screw us out of £1200 in bond money for ridiculous reasons!!! We managed to get over 90% of it back (after 2 months) through the TDS - which goes to show how ridiculous their claims can be. Beware, staying at WEM looks nice on the surface - cafe, bar, nice rooms, close to a tube station etc. but in my opinion, and that of many others, try and find another place to live if you are able to! It’s not worth the trouble.

If I could give zero I would. I wish I had read the reviews before moving in. I'm not even sure who are those who gave this place a 5-star review if they truly lived there. The building is falling apart. You have mould and leakage. The AC doesn't work properly and the rooms get scorching hot even with slight temperature increases in summer. I had people walk into my flat twice in the 6 months that I lived there. But the worst part is how dishonest management is. This is a recurring theme in the reviews of how the service and maintenance is poor, but then they would be quick to grab your money unfairly. They are unfairly claiming that the mattress in my old flat is unusable though that's the condition I received it in. It has wear and tear stains all over it. They conveniently didn't take a close up picture of the mattress in the baseline inventory. There lots of other defects that they hadn't picked up on which I had to contest. I have a damaged nerve in my back so I had my own bed that I had set up in the living area. They still claimed that my six months of hardly using the mattress has resulted in wear and tear. They also tried to make me pay for tiny scratch marks on the exterior door which was always there and isn't even my responsibility as anyone could be causing scratches to the door in the hallway. It just feels like an appalling scam! I was ready to fight them but due to failing health I don't have the energy to pursue this. But I had requested they send me the mattress so that they don't scam someone else out of their deposit, and they refused to send it to me confirming they have no intention of replacing anything. The mattress was the only item in the apartment that I hadn't taken close up pictures of.
And HomeMade are of no help to the tenants. They gave so much wrong information at the start and even overcharged the payment. I had to pay the whole 6 months in advance which I now hear isn't standard practice. Anyway avoid the pain of having to deal with this if you can. Don't be fooled by the pretty pictures because it's all superficial. I really hope I can make WEM management legally accountable for their actions once I recover my health.

As a person working long hours, I look forward coming to home, take hot shower and relax. I work hard, and so are other tenants, we have a good looking house, great lounge on the first floor and ets, and we are paying for it.
However not being able to have a shower after long day and before next working day, is very frustrating. And not having any information on what time the water will come back - is even more frustrating.
If you are planning to stay here ( short or long term rent, please take this info into consideration)

Only lived here a couple months and I can say for sure, it's poorly run for such a lofty-priced, small-sized apartment rooms. We’ve been having water issues for the past 2 days. And no solution proffered or communication sent across early enough despite all the inconveniences and complaints from residents. Besides the fact, they take forever to respond; as I've complained of my AC leaking water at the ceiling, without any help over 2 months. As beautiful as it looks, I definitely wouldn't advise anyone to rent it!

Charging £400 for a used mattress, using the wrong side of the mattress to compare photographs from when we moved in! Worst property management worst building management- Wem Tower, Home Made!!! They DO NOT CARE ABOUT TENANTS!! DO NOT STAY HERE AT ALL COSTS! DONT FALL FOR THE PRETTY LOBBY...that's all it is really. If something goes wrong, they will not help you!! - Air con issues, Lift Issues, water issues..the list goes on.

Nobody takes accountability!! They keep kind people at the concierge who will listen to your complaints but are not authorised to take any action.

I had to live there with a malfunctioned aircon and they didn't bother to fix it until I moved out!!!

THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU MOVE IN HERE!! THE 1 STAR REVIEWS ARE GENUINE FROM OTHER TENANTS!!

When things are good it's actually not a bad place but bear in mind if something goes wrong you'll just have to accept that they won't do anything about it and you'd rather bang your head against the wall than try and communicate with them!

One star for nice and diverse flats to choose to live. Elegant and freshly decorated, fully furnished.

In the building lack of cinema&terrace as in other developments are present. Additionally the communal area on ground floor near door, not relaxing, calm place to chillout.

The most shocking, the landlord expect to pay during first 4 months full price of rent (12 months contract)!!!!!

Do not live here unless you absolutely cannot find any other places, it will save you a lot of stress and money. I decided to end my tenancy after only living here for 2 months because of the horrible management. They end up charging me an outrageous amount for minor stain and claiming the intercom and bed frame were broken while I only lived here for 2 months and never had any issues with them or used them improperly. WEM tower never fails to disappoint me further even after I decided to pay a large penalty to leave early.

If you want nice looking flats, pay a little more and you will save a lot of unnecessary cost and trouble. They do not fix anything in your flat promptly, charge you for not folding cardboard boxes without any explicit written warning, and the concierge, supposedly 24/7, randomly go around the building for long period of time without proper way to contact them. I forgot my key once and was stuck in the lobby from 3 am to 6 am because no one is at the concierge and the number they provided cannot go through.
