Lovely quiet park away from the roads. Beautiful trees, shrubbery, and space. Great for kids to explore nature, learn to ride their bikes on safe paths away from traffic and fly kites, and play ball games. Fantastic for runners and walkers, and it's safe for dog walkers. Anything if you use your imagination. It's just so peaceful and so easy to walk through to take you down into the middle of Kirkintilloch as well. Also, if you're lucky, you will see deer, hedgehogs, foxes, frogs, butterflies, and a wide variety of birds in the breeding season.

Great park
Enclosed and safe for chidlren to play away from traffic.
Its an area that nature has taken over and made very greenfield area
There are numerous animals from foxes to deers . Bats and birds.
A variety of plants and trees.
Lovely view of the Campsies
My 2 children leaned to ride their bikes there as its flat and away from traffic .
Children play football there
Runners and cyclists use it
Also dog walkers
Many local authorities would love to have an area like this on their doorstep .
You would like to think your local councilors would fight tooth and nail to save a park like this in their area . Unfortunately ours dont engage nor appear to want to save it.
Soon it could be lost forever and a school built on it .
So much for saving greenspaces .
