I wish I could describe my exactly how much I hate WithEnergy’s process of billing.
And how much I fear and hate that every winter my buildings hot water system will break regularly. The anxiety of turning on the tap to shower and finding out there’s no hot water again.
I wish I could explain how much I hate with every fibre of my being receiving an email that my payment is late every month simply because their website has no trustworthy and functioning direct debit system.
I wish I could scream at them every time that if they’d just sorted themselves out and took payment at a regular and reliable date they wouldn’t have to jump to threatening emails every month because remembering to pay them is not my priority anymore. Simply because 12 months ago they didn’t take any payments for 6 months and then suddenly decided to demand all the money at once. How unfair and stressful that was because of their sheer lack of organisation and how I will never trust them with freedom to take my money when they want ever again.
I wish I could tell them this every time they email me.
I hate you With Energy.
I despise your website and I wish with all my being I wasn’t trapped into paying you every month.
I hate the HIU system and this method of paying for heating and hot water. I live for the day where I never have to use WithEnergy again.

With energy has the worst website I have ever had the displeasure of having to use! The new update to their website has made everything unusable and incredibly frustrating and eye wateringly difficult to navigate. Trying to look at simple things like a bill is guaranteed to ruin the rest of my day. The only saving grace for this infuriating company is its customer service! Despite being forced to contact their customer service if I needed to do absolutely anything through the website, I always had a great experience when talking to them and they were all very helpful. I am so relieved that I am no longer a customer of with energy! Thank you to the customer service team.

Very poor service, I have reported the same issue 3times almost in a month, they couldn’t find a permanent solution, they come and save the day only , the problem hasn’t been solved permanently.. Also they don’t consider “no hot water” as an emergency . Very very poor service. I wouldn’t even give one star if I didnt have to….

Don’t know how they calculate charges, it’s ridiculously high and they include a standing service charge that is pretty much half our bill. Feel Iike I’ve been conned!

The worst energy company ever…

I’ve had a floor heating issue in my flat and couldn’t able to get a real support and service from the company. It is impossible to connect to the customer service. If you are lucky and reach out them, they promise you to give a call back which never happens. It is certain that they have a miscommunication with their engineers which they tried to close the ticket even though the pump needs to be replaced. Totally annoying service…

Website is riddled with spelling errors - if I didn't know better, I would think it was a scam page. It's impossible to pay a bill or set up a direct debit. I'm trying to pay this company and they're making it impossible to take my money! They'd rather I miss paying my bill and have my power cut off than actually provide a decent service.

This company think they can retrospectively alter bills. Myself and hundreds of others received the following email in April:
"Unfortunately, it has been identified by your Management Company that the current tariff has been insufficient to cover the gas charges incurred. This will mean that each property will receive an additional charge to their account.

These charges have been calculated based on the consumption used within your individual property, therefore everyone’s charge will be different depending on your personal use.  You will see this charge appear on your bill received at the start of June 2023."
As of June they are not backing down. We are having to seek advice from multiple sources including our local MP.

How they think they can get away with this conduct I've no idea.

Out of hours staff aren't sufficiently trained.

Would be good if online dashboard showed last reading daily / hourly etc if it is a smart meter.
