The poor reviews on this company are justified. I had my panels installed 4 years ago (they outsource the installation) and I had a call from them 2 years years ago offering me a system service!?!? They "guaranteed" a significant increase in energy input without coming to the house, it was a software update. I received the email confirming the performance increase and I called Enphase to validate the claim. They confirmed it was rubbish, all software upgrades came from Enphase NOT YSolar. Needless to say I didn’t receive the increased performance and I didn’t pay them. I hate this companies practices and I regret using them to supply my brilliant Enphase system. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY is my strong recommendation.

A very dodgy company. Please do not use them. Very unprofessional service with zero after sales support or customer care.
I am flabbergasted at some of positive reviews posted by some.
I had 16 panels installed in 2014 and soon after encountered problems with two of the panels not generating anything. Despite several calls no one would respond. After a year of persevering they sent an electrian who verified the problem due wrong and defective wiring. In fact when I did manage to contact some they were rude and elusive. Their registered office is just a front which keeps on shifting to different addresses. So beware do not touch them with a barge pole, you will get stung!!!

YSolar owe me money, which they agreed to pay monthly following an error they made by installing our solar panels before the energy survey was completed. They paid up to December, although I had to chase up to 30 times each month, but they haven't paid for January and February yet. I have been treated with very little respect, often being spoken to in an abrupt way, being told on numerous occasions the payment has been made when it hasn't and not returning emails and phone calls.
I have now had to give them a formal 14 day notice yo pay before I take it through HIEs and the small claims court.
Don't trust them with your business, they simply don't care about their customers.

I Just had my solar panel system installed a few months ago. The consultation went really well and I am extremely happy with the 4KW system I got. The installation was done just before summer and I am currently receiving my feed in tariff every month!

I had a few consultations from different companies before installing panels and I am delighted to say that Ysolar did the best consultation due to the fact that the energy advisor clearly explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. They have a free helpline which is active everyday so they’re only a phone call away if I ever need any help.

10/10 would recommend, very satisfied with the service!

I would have to say that I would absolutely recommend this company. I had a 4kw system installed and in the last 3 months it has massively over performed! (although probably due to the amazing weather we have had just recently). A friend also had a similar system fitted but they chose to have a live data monitoring device (which I didn’t), and having looked at how that worked, you can see exactly how each panel is performing and you are also alerted to any issues. Luckily I spoke to their operations manager and he added the device to my system at no extra charge!

Shame you can't do 0 star review. I believe they are scammers, do not even entertain them. They've had my mums solar panels for over a year "in storage" and have shown no signs of attempting to give them back. They don't answer the phone, return calls or respond to any means of contacting them. They've also sold her an extra battery system which never appeared. Do not trust Ray! Just out to scam you and steal your panels.

I just recently had my solar panels installed by Y Solar in 2018. The installers were fantastic and explained the system in detail to me. I was extremely satisfied with initial consultation by Steve as well as the quotation. Would highly recommend this company.

I recently had a battery storage system fitted to go along with my existing PV System. The fitter was great and work was carried out to a high standard.

I information on various storage systems was explained very well, and I was guided to make the right choice to fit my budget. Thank you. I will recommend.
