Rooms are very clean but they need to be updated. My ensuite bathroom.was new, but I barely had shower gel and handwash not even a shower cup.
My dietary requirements have not been met, on the last evening meal Ifinally met a chef who was helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, in somehow he did not get my full list of requirements and my details, so he could just help to find something more than a green leaf mixed salad to.eat.

**One Night Stay**

I recently stayed here for one night, and honestly, that was more than enough.

Rooms: The accommodations were very basic, with uncomfortable beds featuring old spring mattresses. I expected more comfort for my stay.

Breakfast: The breakfast was average at best. The staff seemed untrained and unable to handle requests efficiently. I prepaid for a full English breakfast, only got mushrooms and two pieces of bacon only. When I asked for two fried eggs also, they informed me I could only have one due to the number of guests. This was quite disappointing and felt embarrassing.

Location: The location was acceptable, but there’s not much more to say about it.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for a comfortable stay and decent service.

P.S. as a comment for hotel’s funny reply, I paid for full english buffet breakfast of my choice, not for a portioned food and I was never informed about this. In my plate I had 2 x bacon and mushrooms only and they refused to give me 2 eggs. Secondly, your “large” choice of breakfast items is a big lie because you hardly had any cheese selection which is big part of a breakfast, you also didn’t have any vegan choices although you had loads of guests looking for it.

I mean, look at the other reviews, bad rooms, awful beds, bad customer service, rude people, etc.

Unfortunately there’s nothing particularly close by and few bits available, ie to buy a drink is very expensive. The rooms need gutting. Beds are horrible and decor is very dated. Rotary phone and nasty brown wooden furniture. But give credit where credit is, the rooms were very clean. Bathroom spotless.
All staff are very friendly so that’s a bonus. Food is okay at best at times. Food is never hot. Luke warm at best. Some days the food was terrible. The hole sight had an open prison feel to it. Wouldn’t recy

Conference facilities were ok but half way through, the door locked to the disabled toilet and I couldn’t go at all. All doorways were tight so that I couldn’t propel myself through.
The rooms are ok but accessibility is poor. I booked an accessible room and when I got there the door to the building was not automated so I wouldn’t be able to get in by myself. Once inside the room the shower has a 6 inch step which made it inaccessible and unsafe for me. The only other accessible room was the same so I had to move to a different hotel.
They did refund me for my stay though.

I was here recently for a conference and really enjoyed it. My first impression was the massive size of the centre. The ensuite room that I had was excellent, spotless and spacious. The food in the restaurant is pretty good although I found the hot food at breakfast lukewarm at best, even when I came early. The staff are lovely, very helpful and down to earth. Sizeable car park. Plenty of space outside. Situated on the edge of Yarnfield village, you can hear the M6 traffic but it's not so loud that it is a problem. Getting to the M6 from here is a good 20-30 minute journey as you're between two junctions but it's pretty easy to access. I'd definitely recommend this conference centre and will return in the future!

We had 5* service from every member of staff we met. They couldn't have been more helpful. All smiley. The venue is disabled friendly and (with the exception of the accommodation lock needing to be slightly longer!) My daughter found it fully accessible with her wheelchair.
Rooms heated we'll. Water hot. Shower superb. Bed ok. Room clean. And serviced! Unexpected as it was weekend.
Towels small but I got that memo to took mine and used the one provided for my hair.
The food is plentiful and good quality. Vegan and gf catered for. Excellent salad bar.
Cannot speak highly enough.

Attended an overnight conference here - first visit. Excellent issue of room cards. Rooms were very comfortable. The meals were excellent, with a good choice. There are conference rooms of pretty much every size, with all the necessary equipment. Staff were all efficient and helpful. I would definitely recommend this centre or sister centres for a conference. I especially like that they provide for faith events.
