This lot are a joke, don't trust them. Customer service is shocking, additional charges everywhere every objection is answered with, "it's in the contract" I can't score them "0" unfortunately, but would if that were possible. It seems I'm not the only one disappointed with their trickery, don't use them.

At the end of my contract, YGP arbitrarily informed me that I owed them over £5,000. When I called them to enquire what this related to, they told me not to worry, it was an error on their side and that I was actually in credit.

They told me not to adjust or cancel my direct debit but I did as a precaution. They then messaged me again to claim that I did, in fact, owe them over £5,000 and asked me to make payment. When I queried why I owe the amount, they could not explain. One reason they provided, amongst others, was that I spent £5k on electricity in my last month (when my typical bill was £250).

I have been with YGP for 3 years.

They have made keeping on top of my account/bills easy, with minimal paperwork. Plus they always answer the phone really quickly and sort out any queries fast. I would certainly recommend them, having experienced how badly other competitors treat their clients (namely EoN and N-Power who are both utterly dreadful!)

Previously had a contract with YGP when all the energy prices skyrocketed. Fine for me as I had a fixed price with them. I was in an old building with an economy 7 meter. Come in one morning and that supply had been switched off mid winter - no heating which is detrimental to my business. Had an electrician out to confirm no problem on my end. Fought with YGP for weeks about it in which they just offered to pay me out of my contract ( seems suspicious right ? ) After weeks of back and forth resorted to contacting the ombudsman in which it was resolved.

Years later I’m finally out of a contract with such an awful company. But setting up a new company and moving premises. YGPs broker called the other director of my business and completely bullied, and lied to her to trick her into signing a contract. Asked them to review the mis-sale as we don’t want to be stuck with them again. And they will only review the 2 minute section of the 26 minute phone call in which she was completely lied too and won’t discuss any further with us and say to contact the broker. Broker not responding at all. I’m just baffled how it’s legal for companies to even act this way.

Absolutely Dreadful. Payments must be made over the phone verbally giving your card number to their advisors whilst they stop the call recording, unlike other phone payments where you input your details using the keypad, all seems rather dodgy. There is no option to pay online using a safer secure system, the only option other than phone is by Bank Transfer/BACS, or Cheque. Their pricing is extortionate, avoid at all costs. They do not have a portal online or anything, so unless you are prepared to call for every thing, and be prepared to get wound up, go elsewhere!!!!

They use unregulated companies like UK energy services to make outbound sales calls and mis sell contracts. Tried numerous times to sort this but no luck. Better off avoiding YGP and UK energy services. YGP maybe regulated by offcom but thier outbound sales team that put you in contract are not. AVOID

If zero stars was a possibility...dreadful customer service. Took £18,000 by direct debit for a £1500 bill. Customer service will not sort out. If there are any lawyers who are interested in helping please help.
